Not sure why you had to try replacing a 6V rx57 with 24v rx30.. as per my quick look at the specs, the 1st one is 6 volts battery driven, while second one operates at 24 volts.. so its quite possible that the controller is not able to work with 6 volts (assuming you are still using a 6volts battery).. changing the battery to 24 volts also wont help, because the original motor is rated only 6volts. You may want to look for like to like replacement (with 6volt controller)
I've just got a quick question I'm really hoping to get answered here. My question is once the relay is fried is it possible to bypass it by running wiring from battery to shift then to foot switch and then to motors? Or is buying the replacement board my only option
yes it is possible because the box is actually here only for the remote to work, you just need to correctly wire the pedal and forward / back switch to the motor and battery
@@sekiro5982 I'm thinking of putting a double pole double throw (DPDT) 3 position switch inline with the gas pedal, it will give me forward and reverse. Hey mate, you asked about why, after replacing the resister it still wouldn't work? I'm betting its because other parts are fried. Like you said, the boards are pretty sensitive, so that much current going over a board designed for 12v is probably going to suffer in many areas. Just a guess.

Yes 18v works on 24v Weelye. I was actually able to run the controller and 12v motors 2drive + 1steer until the battery measured at 11.5V. That means you can likely run the rx30 for a little bit with a 12V battery. Troubleshoot. If it was just the gas pedal/wiring, the remote would probably work. Since they both don't work, it could be the electronics, which a board replacement could fix. It could be the relay that controls forward movement as mentioned in the video. If you know how, test the continuity of the depressed pedal. If it's good, then the likelihood of the circuit board being the problem is even higher. It could be something else, but if you test as much as you can and everything else checks out, get a new circuit board/box. Let me know how it goes!

I'm curious if anyone knows the part number for U3? It is the mosfet with the large heatsink from the board in the white box. I can read what appears to be "150N" but the rest of it is gone from damage. Is it the same 150N03A as shown on the other board (black box) in this video?
For anyone out there, Amazon has the entire controller box for about $15. I ordered one to help me fix the broken one. The new box I received has a different part for the U3 MOSFET. It is NCE30H10. You will only find this part on ebay from china. I have found a cross that I believe will work that part number is long, it's IPP80N06S2L07AKSA2. This part is on Mouser.com. I use this company every day at work. However, I don't think you'll get around ordering the steering driver IC RZ7889 from china. I am not able to find a cross for this one. Is there a way to make the best choice jeep use a dewalt 20 volt battery? I hate charging for 14 hours on the off chance my daughter will use the jeep the next day when I have half a dozen dewalt batteries laying around the garage.
Without giving it too much thought, I'd recommend looking into using a buck converter to step down the voltage to 13 or 14V (maybe more if you're feeling lucky) and ride into the sunset with those DeWalt 20Vs. If you wire them directly, you will probably fry the electronics like I did twice and end up giving away the jeep.

There's a decent chance that would work. You can try getting the controller out and seeing if the pins and connectors match the wellye in my video. If it's not quite the same, there are other versions that might be the right fit.
I tried several capacitors, installed both properly and reverse polarity. The relays, as suspected in the video, were damaged. There may have been other components damaged, but I couldn't find any other obvious damage.

Got the same issue... Rides 2 meters and shut off.. Any ideas?
SuperClown1979 I gave up and bought a peg perigo. I’m guessing it is a wheel motor short circuiting the unit or something. Kidswheels.com has all sorts of extra parts for these to tinker around on. but I didn’t want to sink more money into an unknown issue.
Where do you download the wire diagram
What is the MOSFET on new part?
I don't have the unit anymore so unfortunately I can't say. Thanks for the question!
My car won't go forward on remote or gas pedal what's the fix
Troubleshoot. If it was just the gas pedal/wiring, the remote would probably work. Since they both don't work, it could be the electronics, which a board replacement could fix. It could be the relay that controls forward movement as mentioned in the video. If you know how, test the continuity of the depressed pedal. If it's good, then the likelihood of the circuit board being the problem is even higher. It could be something else, but if you test as much as you can and everything else checks out, get a new circuit board/box. Let me know how it goes!
@@1empyre1life yeah that's what it is. I noticed the Master switch went too so it's something in the circuit board
@@dmtmachineelves Hopefully a new board will fix it. Post a reply on your results!

Hi, my son's jeep makes noises and the lights flick, it doesn't makes anything, just stopped working, i always used the original charger, any suggestions?
It could be a wiring problem. I think the lights and sounds are on a different circuit board, and that could be faulty.
hello guys, someone can help me? i have the same board with blown capacitor but i don’t really know if is 6v or 12? 2 batteries 6v each, seems connected in parallel.
i will like to replace the capacitor someone know which capacitor i need to buy?
I was using the 20v dewalt battery just fine until I tried to run 36v. Then it broke
I did the same thing and I replaced the box but now when I put it in gear it takes off without pushing the pedal any ideas
Can you send me wiring diagram link for this particular device in the video I have to commission this in my new car?
Dear sir kya without welllye controler ke bina direct chala sakte h koi falt to nhi hoga. Or wellye control box ko kaise chech kre ki ye shi h ya nhi. Plz about me.
My son jeep won’t charge does anyone know why this is happening?
Hey my kids Jeep has a broken blue wire coming from the small circuit board over the on/off switch can you tell me where that goes to? I look but can’t find where it suppose to go. Thanks in advance.
That's just an antenna for the radio. One end does not connect to anything
@@diegoflores8339 I was thinking that, thanks so much .
Is there anyway to fix that? I just got one on offer up and I saw a free blue wire down there
@@aurorablancaflor6521 turns out that’s the wire for the wireless controller so it doesn’t connect to anything as far as I found out.
Hello. I am looking at experimenting with the Bluetooth receiver found in a similar Ride-On vehicle to see if it can be a discoverable bluetooth device for other electronics to pick up rather than restricted to the remote control. Do you have any knowledge as to how I can find the module on the motherboard or how I can find the Bluetooth address that is used to pair the two components?
Thanks. Very helpful video
That sounds very interesting, unfortunately I am not versed in either of those skills. I would also like to know how to do that, though.
I did the same thing to mine & I ordered the new Weeyle part but now the radio isn't working and remote wont sync. Any ideas?
My radio stopped working when the original board died and didn't get fixed with the new board. My guess is some sensitive electronics in the radio were somehow damaged.
1empyre would you happen to know if they sale the radio chip online? Tried looking but no luck. I contacted the manufacturer and they haven't for back to me.
@@markzepeda6864 I did some searching for the radio chip but had no luck. I have an old car stereo that I might try hooking up and mounting somehow lol.
Do i need to buy the remote for it or can i connect the one i have
nayito cota you can use the existing remote. You will just have to sync it with the new board
My kids car is going only backward not going forward , any solution
Is this a new problem? It might be the wiring. Maybe in the switch to select forward or reverse. It could be electronic too
I want this product black box
Hey man I'm trying to upgrade my sons to the 18v and am having issues getting it right. Could you possibly post a video of how you wired it
Sorry for the late reply, but I went back to 12v. You have to either bypass the board and directly wire the pedal to the motors or find a way to upgrade the relays and probably capacitors and possibly other/all components to handle the extra voltage/current.
Most motor driver ICs out there are more than 8 pins. The ones that are the correct package (SOIC8) are not rated for 3 amps like the RZ7889 is.
What is the specs of c16 capacitor? mine blew and i need to replace it
C16 should be 16v 220uF. Replacing with higher voltage rating is fine but must be 220uF
Do you have a schematic for this controller?
I do not. Thanks for the comment though, and if you do find a schematic, I'm sure others are interested.
@@1empyre1life thanks. I have the black version and there is 1 unused pin of the 7. It's the 3rd pin closest to the short edge. Wondering what it's for and if I can use it for something. Would be cool if I could beep the horn or switch music etc remotely. My car has 3 speeds controlled by the remote, and has the gradual acceleration feature. Would appreciate If anyone knows what these pins are. Thanks.
What happened to myeen is plain bad luck, I upgraded. Was 6v went to 12v which isint even that high. The car works perfectly if driven manually. But my 2 year old cant ride it like that. The remote works for forward and backward, how ever it does not turn the wheels from remote.
Other people have had this problem, but I'm not sure what the cause or solution would be.
C1 capacitor number
we tried running 2x12 volt batteries yesterday and it blew so we ordered the RX 30 24 volt which is coming in a a week.
We put the old 1 back in Jeep works fine but now no lights and sounds??? Any ideas anyone
I lost the radio when I blew my board. I may have lost lights and other sounds, but don't remember, as it's been a while.
@@1empyre1life thank you very much for the reply do you think when our RX 30 24 volt comes they will come back on please
@@allstarshootinguk3222 you're welcome! Other comments on this video suggested that the new board doesn't fix the sound issue. I think it's a separate board.

Does anybody have ride on 4 wheeler (12v) that was working fine then radio and sounds stopped working. We have another one which everything stopped working including the motors. Only thing that worked was the power button (red light) and the headlights. The replacement had same issue right out of the box.
Bought new control board and put it in the newer 4 wheeler and still no sound or radio. Drive motors still work along with headlights but that's it. .
Please help if you know of any way to fix this
I believe the sounds are on a different circuit board. That could be the problem.
Will this motherboard (being blown) cause the vehicle to turn on but not move/pair with controller? I am trying to do the process of elimination with my sons urus ride toy. The battery seems to be working fine. But I did charge it for like 20 hours and that might have caused the overload. But it starts and the lights, radio/blue tooth are functioning correctly. Any feedback? It’s greatly appreciated
That's a good question, hopefully the answer lies in the comments somewhere. The radio or Bluetooth did not function, as well as the driver controls when mine blew. Hopefully this helps!
so I have a question man cause I put 2 12 volt batteries in a Uenjoy 2 rider car and smoke started coming from behind the radio.
Did your steering go out? if so maybe that is all I have to replace. I stopped the car before anything blew. I took out the control board that was behind the radio but maybe its that box you replaced that I really need to get switched out. So once again im asking you. was it the steering that went out?

u2 could of blew, I have one on my work bench now.
Could you tell me what u2 is? as this is damage is obvious.
The person has hooked up the battery with the wrong polarity
from what I can read of this chip it was rz7889
Can you elaborate on what u2 is?
U2 is a motor diver. It's what delivers power to the DC motors at the wheels
I realise this post is old but..
You are correct. U2 part number is RZ7889. It is the motor driver for the steering.
I have the same problem, my nephew hooked up the battery backward and let the smoke out.
I'm curious if anyone knows the part number for U3? It is the mosfet with the large heatsink. I can read what appears to be "150N" but the rest of it is gone from damage. Is it the same 150N03A as shown on the other board in this video?
how much pcb board
Can you provide a link where you got it
Search "Wellye 2.4" on ebay and you should get results. Make sure to get the right connector based on your existing board, ie 7 pins, or whatever. Apparently you can get them with a new controller, which appears to be cheaper currently. I've recently bought a Cosmic Overdrive SX118 Model Kids Car ride for my son. Works fine but my controller is now damaged. I've been looking all over for a replacement and all I can find is the Weelye controller from Amazon. Do you know if there is any way I can use this controller and transmitter to replace my old one?
There's a decent chance that would work. You can try getting the controller out and seeing if the pins and connectors match the wellye in my video. If it's not quite the same, there are other versions that might be the right fit.

Did you find out why the new replacement capacitor did not fix the problem? Maybe you installed the capacitor the wrong way around?
I tried several capacitors, installed both properly and reverse polarity. The relays, as suspected in the video, were damaged. There may have been other components damaged, but I couldn't find any other obvious damage.
