Sounds like you bought the 520, the one that looks like caulking gun. The 720 is better, but it has some issues too. The K5 that both of these replaced was by far a better tool, much more versatile.

That jig used to be made of strong steel. Not anymore. Let's make it out of cheap plastic so one day, they will buy another one. Tools used to be passed onto their loved ones. Not anymore. BTW harbor freight sells a Chinese knockoff made of metal.

They have a tiny contration that looks like a pencil sharpener with 2 holes and does the exact same thing in any direction for what I can only imagine is at 1/20 the size of this, 40x more practical, and 1/10 the cost
