I just am appalled that there was no order to abandon ship. If there were there's a chance they all would have made it. Rest in peace to those who lost their lives on this ship. Thank you for bringing this ship to light. None of them should be forgotten on the Great Lakes, for many died on these ships.
The ten deceased crew members were found, just to correct. Two have passed away due to hypothermia and eight have been later recovered from the wreck. Leonard also told all of the story to the company but they did not believe him until they dove down and found the logbook.
Nice job. Just one thought....I believe that the collision happend on the port side, not the starboard.. Other than that it was good. I knew 3 of the survivors, the one told me that he herd the collision then he came out of the stern cabin as the bow of the Topdalsfjord slid by. He said he could see the sparks and smell the burning paint as the hulls scraped past each other.
Did you know that Cedarville is one of my 8 favorit lake freighters. The oher ones of my favorits is Carl D Bradley, Edmund Fitzgerald, Daniel J Morrell and Arthur M Andresson, Arthur B Homer, William Clay Ford and Johnstown. Do you have a favorit lake freighter?
You sound like you would prefer not to tell the story ,talk too fast and especially the last sentence makes you sound like you are really eager to run away as soon as possible. Its very stressful to listen to , sorry. But the video is fine besides that.
Tell me what videos you want to see in the future
Wow, great video. Sheds the light on a overlooked lake boat we have lost….
Thank you!

Excellent story telling, Connor! Only the rapid outro I always find a bit weird, people hardly have the chance to subscribe or like 😉
Thanks! 😁 The short outro is for the engagement on the video.
Thanks for bringing this wreck to light everybody knows about the EdmundFitzgerald and the CarlDBradley
You do such a wonderful job with your documentation!
Thank you so much!

Thanks! That was what I was not sure about. Some reported it happening on port and some on starboard side.
@@ConnorTenold No problem, it's hard sometimes when there's conflicting info..
Great work Connor! Are you planning on covering other disasters outside of the great lakes as well?
Thank you! I have given it some thought, if I was to do that it would be on another channel though.

Same as your list but I would also add the Roger Blough the Stewart J Court, American victory now scrapped and the Edward L Ryerson
My top five would be the Edward L. Ryerson, Frontenac, Arthur M. Anderson, John G. Munson, and the Alpena
Good pick. Can you do a Video about the William Clay Ford?
@@Kalle7075 Sure
@@ConnorTenold Had I telled you that my friend Lukas dad saw it back in 1972?
Hey I recognize Stormworks! Lol
My favorite game
Wow good Job. You you are better then me. I drew the Cedarville a week ago but it got destroyed by rain.
Thanks!
Oh shoot, that's really sad......
Yes I know but did you that Cedarville is one of biggest shipwrecks at the Great Lakes
@@Kalle7075 Yes, that and the Carl D. Bradley, Daniel J. Morrell and the Edmund Fitzgerald.
Love the video but I got a question. Is that stormworks your using for parts of it? If so, I like that, love that game.
Thanks! It is Stormworks. Great game.
@@ConnorTenold Nice! Been building a Fitzgerald in that game for a while and it's been a challenge. Someday it'll be done though!
@@GriffinDidur if you get it done in time for November I could maybe use it in my video for the Fitz (with proper credit and shoutout of course).
@@ConnorTenold unlikely I'll finish the big version by that time but I could probably get a scaled down version made between now and then
@@GriffinDidur Would you be able to finish the big one if you just didn't include the acommodations?
