+Larry Brock there is a level of phycology when it comes to video creation. For instance, during editing I was well aware that I misspoke and I could have easily edited it out, however knowing that the RUclips algorithm rewards engagement I leave it in knowing that the audience absolutely cannot help but point out mistakes...
So what that means is every single person pointing out the mistake (and thats fine honestly their comments aren't malicious) pushes my video higher in the RUclips "relevancy" meter which helps my video get ranked faster and pushed out to more sub boxes and recommended video tabs.
So basically, they are rewarding me by pointing out my mistakes which is why I leave it in.
      Fascinating right?? :)

Jay, I've been watching your channel for about two years now. You've done a very good job of explaining the small details that a lot of other reviewers overlook. I love it when people take pride in their work and keep going even knowing someone else's opinion tries to bring your work down! Keep the videos going man!! Great work!

I just want to say this might be, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful builds I've seen you do. The blue coolant, white cables and gray case all mesh so well together. Those three always make for a really clean and sharp design, regardless of medium. Great work!

To be Fair I once build for someone else a watercooled PC and he gave me professional equipment for making perfect 90 degree bends. I was done in a day used two reservoirs with orange and blue coolant, put some LED's in it and it looked quite stunning. I think building a PC is overrated, it is not as his build is a masterpiece at all. I really don't get why he doesn't use tools to get perfect bends because in every build I see all the flaws and it bothers me. He is considered a professional and I only build once a watercooled PC which had perfect bends. If he is considered a professional he should make perfect bends, just doing it by the eye isn't good enough. If one bend is 91 degrees and the other one is 89 degrees it will definitely show. More people can do this and I'm quite positive the majority of his viewers could do better than he does if they had the same amount of time they could use building a pc. I don't have a watercooled pc myself, too expensive and too much work taking care of. All he basically has to do is pick a color scheme and build it. The only hard part is having enough money because building it isn't that complicated.

Just built in this case. Love it to death! And that baby weighs 48 lbs empty. Ryzen 7 1800X, Asus ROG Crosshair IV Hero Wifi, NZXT Kraken X72 360 AIO, 16gig G.Skill Flare X. Samsung 860 Pro 1tb SSD. Sadly, I only had it for 2 weeks and put in a new power supply and it fried the board and all my hard drives, and screwed up the AIO. Took me several months of saving to build it,... starting over. I made a 10 minute 40 second video of my Rags to Riches: A PC Love Story, which is on my page.. It was a beautiful machine.
So I loved seeing you build in my case. Came from an Amd A10 socket2, so you feel my pain.

You won't get even pressure and may not have even contact, pushing your thermal compound to one corner.
It's hit and miss But I wouldn't chance it. Learn from my experience and just do it correctly, RMA if you have to.

    • @AnotherLotte
      @AnotherLotte 7 лет назад +1

You should probably contact customer support about your options, if you happen to have just recently bought that cooler.
It's pretty important that all four points are nice and firmly tightened. (You can probably run things no problem, but why risk it? Ya know?)

    • @Valapatt0
      @Valapatt0 7 лет назад +2

I would go as far as remove the third one and use 2 on opposite corners, just make sure you screw them in at the same time and same pressure. Make a test fit to see if the paste spreads evenly on the CPU.

Love the custom loop build videos, man. It's what got me to subscribe in the first place. Keep up the good work.

    Camera work is on point!
I love the effect you get from that cooling solution... it does look a bit sploogie tho...
I can't believe how much better your production values get every video. You're like American LTT! Love your channel

Awesome. I liked watching you put the cooling system together. I'll have to try building one like that.

    Here's a challenge for you.
Make a water cooled system without a standard radiator.
The idea behind this is instead of using heat holding plastic tubing, you instead use copper pipe with brass fittings and use lengths long enough that it can be coiled and cooled by the airflow in the case or outside even. Radiators are just about surface area and there is a lot of surface area on a length of copper pipe.
Of course the big issue will be with water flow rates as long lengths with coils will require a more powerful pump to overcome the added resistance of the distance.
Instead of all these fancy colours with the fluid, the copper itself would be the design feature of a functional steampunk type design. Although adding a short illuminated clear section(s) to the build could give the impression of mystical fluid flowing through the system.
Now it may not be as good for overclocking as a traditional radiator, but it might work just fine with something like a Ryzen 7 build that will not overwhelm the system with excessive heat when overclocked, allowing the fluid temp to stay well under the max fluid temps for the other components. But then again with enough surface area and a high air flow case, it could work out even better.

This is the most beautiful build of yours I've seen.
-And yes I'm biased as well because white/cyan.-

This is an incredible build Jay! I know this takes a long time, so I appreciate the amount of effort put into this.

"Hey, I'm Jay and I have a case to review, that means I'll just casually build a hard line tubing watercooled pc, just because I can."
Am I a little bit jealous? Maybe, but I appreciate all the effort put in every single video, just love those builds, can't wait for the Threadripper PC!

Looks awesome! Not seen blue builds like that for a good while! I'm pretty sure the light blue phase died out about 7-8 years ago! Great vid Jay

I felt like I was watching a very high end product commercial once it was time for the coolant. Like it was just missing the Jaguar or Mercedes voice over XD the audio was perfect. Awesome build and the video was very entertaining to watch.

You have really stepped up your game, music and accompanying shots are amazing. Awesome build but at the min you could be upgrading a game boy and make it look beautiful...good work Jay on this vid and build.

I had a buy 2 more drive cages, which was a pain not only cause it cost more but the delay to get the sleds. Another problem I had was with the expansion slot screws, either need an extremely short screw drivers or need to be access at an angle which isn't good for the screw thread, or need to install the graphics card while the mobo tray is not, which is not convenient. Great looking case and heavy AF, but below expectations on build convenience.

I've been wanting to do a custom loop water cooling PC ever since watching your channel JayzTwoCents. Now with that Vue fluid I have some real motivation. Can't wait for it to come out and to give custom loop water cooling a try.

Upset with myself that I didn't by the Cosmos C700P, and instead went with the Dark Base 900 pro white. C700P appears to be much more solid/stable and love the metal.

Mmmm...love me that Cosmos case. My current setup sits in a dated Cosmos S. Although I'm building a Corsair Air 740 for a change of pace, I still love the roomy Function & Form of the Cosmos line. Those sleds have been super handy over years of abuse.
