In the 2019 world cup in england, the stadiums were filled with Indians. In the T'20s which India recently played in australia, 90% of the spectators were Indian in a foreign country. Batsmen have anple protection now a days, also there is limit now as bowling above waist is a no ball, also there is no physicality in the game, it's physically very less challenging due to no body contact and you can still be one of the best in this sport even if you have a dad bod

You literally said it yourself why football is interesting, even if there is a 3 goal difference a team can comeback. There is thrill. It can be 0-0 at the 90th minute and a team can score a late winner. Even in baseball there is you are 5-0 up at the 9th the opposing team scores 6 at the very end to win the match.
Cricket? There isn't any such thing, since you already decide whos going to bat or ball first in the cointoss. There is no drama. You already know what score you have to make. So if you have to make 20 scores from 20 overs you are already certain you won the game. The last time I checked first to bat has 42% chance of winning. What an unfair 'sport'.

I'm Indian and I hate cricket. I hate wsching it and I hate playing it. It is a sport solely dependent on individual skill and requires no collective team strategy. Plus it is super boring.

@Prateek Kumar i've played it enough to know about it. and it doesn't require enough strategy. it is evident from the fact that a coach in a professional cricket team is the most useless person. there is nothing to strategise, everyone goes out there and performs their individual duty. bowl well, bat well, field well. done. if your bowlers are getting smashed, change the spell. thats it. but in football it is a lot more. there are parts of the game which requires a lot of brain on how to surpass the opponent's defence or how to make the opponent fall a victim to your offside trap. its more like chess where movement of every single player is accounted on the field. one false move and your gameplan is ruined. and the team coach strategises all these plans. obviously you'd never know about these things because you prefer to watch a boring sport like cricket where there is a 10 minute ad after every 10 minute of action. anyway maybe you watch indian football thats why you dont know enough. indian football is shit, try watching european football and then come back here. :)
