  • Pan F Plus is a 50 ISO, high contrast, black & white film offering exceptionally fine grain, sharpness and detail. Suitable for bright conditions from sunny days to controlled studio lighting. It suits subjects ranging from architecture and still-life to portraiture and fashion.

    It's nice to see a B/W film that actually has inky blacks

    I used to shoot on this film and I loved every second of it. It produced so much punch like I just couldn't look away.

    I LOVE that you are Australian, in my part of the world (I'm in Melbourne) shooting the exact same film on the exact same camera with the exact same amount of experience with Pan F 50... Whatever you do shoot more videos! Did you do one on Delta 100? link please...

    How was the film developed (developer, dilution, time)? With black and white, the results can vary dramatically depending on the development recipe.

    Definitely good for portraits produces nice skin tones once it’s exposed they recommend you process it straight away nice images 👍🏻

      @@DaniloAllen no not really shoot it as you would for your portrait to be fair I have only shot it outside skin tones look lovely I am still playing around with it but that’s half the fun of film photography

    hi!
    i think the film is really tough.
    I would use it with a light to medium yellow filter...

    Pan F+ 50 is a ultra fine grain emulsion with great contrast and deep blacks, but you need to shoot it with lots of daylight and, because is super high detail, you got to close down your lens to f4 or 5.6, even f8, it would be a disservice to this film to shoot it wide open and your ultra soft, super-fast lens can ruinyour images... close down 2 or 3 stops...

    I really like your videos but by god man, that shallow depth of field is nauseating

    • @DaniloAllen
      @DaniloAllen  2 года назад +2

      Yeah 🤣 hahahaha I really used to over do that shallow depth of field - I’ve been doing my best to get out the habit in my recent videos. Hopefully you’ll find those less nauseating - sorry about that
