      This shark was chasing in prey and misjudged the depth of tidal waters. They chase in schools of fish even other sharks . So your right it could’ve been a bigger shark but I doubt it. This one’s super sized itself.

      This is an edited image. I've stood next to the model of the largest female ever hauled in and tagged, 22 feet long or so, at the museum of natural science in Houston. It's nowhere near that wide or tall at the tip of the dorsal fin out of the water.

      Naturally she scary as 💩 but so are a lot of critters we live near. USA bears, mountain lions, wolves, coyotes, rattle snakes, brown recluse, black widow. Australia - everything 😂

      The whale shark holds that title. It first suppresses the size of any great white. Great white sharks are not even the most aggressive of the sharks and killer whales make short work of them easily. Even a pod or a group of dolphins can kill a great white relatively easily.

    This is not the same shark that washed up in North Carolina. The one in North Carolina was a quarter of this size in terms of girth.

      It's not just off Carolina, sometimes spotted and warmer water but from the Carolinas all the way up to where I am in Cape Cod we are there everywhere, big fat 18 19 20 ft females patrolling the whole coast of the Outer Cape from Monomoy point up to p-town, they are scary but the fact that they are showing up everywhere on the East Coast like this is a good thing because that's where they're supposed to be, in the water that is not washed up on the beach

    5.5m is as big as they get and round like a small car. Ive been working taging them and from 3m to near 5.5m is a massive differance. They have a massive black eye and there more blue than grey. Amazing fish. I have surfed for 38 yrs and stopped in bali 2020 in lock down. Crocs and sharks can have under the water as i stay ontop now. I just k ow whats in there and fully respect that. Play with fire and ull get burnt one day.😅
