I'm 57 years old mama and I play all ME.s ones a year in x-mas time.. .I started to play in past to help my son to heal from acute leukemia... that was 17 years ago..? My love for gaming came from Mass effect games.. So much memories... My son is now 33 and Is going well. We play time to time together online.. still... I live in a hope to play the next new ME one before I will be 60. This game is for me so much more than just a game .

I hope this new series continues Shepards story because I think Andromeda might’ve been continuing the refusal ending because it’s the ending nobody likes and rarely anyone likes andromeda so I think they could continue the other 3 endings considering Shepard has died before in the beginning of mass effect 2 so who’s to say he can’t die and be revived a 2nd time

I think 3 overall is my favorite, that's saying a lot considering the ending. 3 just feels so good as a game the mechanics are solid. 2 is my most nostalgic. And 1 is that weird friend who you enjoy hanging out with but only in short bursts then they get annoying. Just a great series. Never played Andromeda

Planet looks like it might be Noveria. The area around the research labs where you find the Rachni Queen and Benezia in ME1 looked a bit like what we see in the vid. Big, dark bunkers with big vehicle gates opening up to wide, highway like streets in snowy terrain. And at 0:10, that right there is an Andromeda OST. It plays when you first encounter Peebee on Eos, while you're about to reset the Remnant monolith and she tackles you. Hmmm... so I guess the merge of old school Mass Effect and Andromeda elements is pretty solidly confirmed then? Man, I'm hyped. Can't wait for this one.

The music! The sound effects! They're all very Mass Effect, which should go without saying, but many long-running franchises nowadays seems to want to ditch their roots behind, so I'm glad this gives off the feel of Mass effect with just 34 seconds! Hope it's good
Absolutely great! The music is awesome, the armor has a great design and the cloak looks cool. I hope so much that Mass Effect 5 gets back to its old strength and that ideally all the strengths from Mass Effect 1-4 are combined, while all the weak points are eradicated. Apart from the Gothic Remake, there's no other announced game I'm looking forward to as much as the new Mass Effect.

This was a game series I slept on for a whole decade, until I decided to try it earlier this year. It's one of the best game series I've ever played, and I kick myself for not playing it sooner.
The design of her suit reminds me of Liara as shadow broker. Could be a new protagonist but that design and slender build definitely reminds me of her.
I had same thoughts after watching the trailer. Also the helmet looks to be shaped for asari head. And Liara usually used pistol too in all the concept arts. Everything just points to me it’s her😂

LOVE the Trilogy. Played multiple times, could only finish the 4th once, never touched it again. I hope they find and bring back Shepard, they teased it last time.
I'm fine with Shepard not being the lead. Shepard's a good lead and all, but where 3 ended (despite the controversy) I think is a good place to leave 'em. Maybe have Shepard come back in a Captain Anderson or Admiral Hackett-esque role, but I would much rather see a united Mass Effect that allows for some character customization. Let me be a Turian or Salarian or what not! Though I'm probably just dreaming here.
Y'know, one of the teaser images from last year referred to us as "agents", and I'm getting strong espionage vibes from this teaser here. Also with yesterdays teases we know the Andromeda Initiative is involved somehow, meaning the new game could be set 600+ years after ME3. Assuming Liara lived trough ME3, she'd be just over 700 years old and quite possibly still the Shadow Broker. Shadow Broker. Agents. Could we be playing as an agent for Liara?
just relaxed to the 4-hour trilogy soundtrack for mass effect and I can't believe even after all these years I can still listen to any song from those games and still just bop along to it as though it was the first time I heard it, the nostalgia I got reminded me back when I would sit in the cabin watching my father play mass effect 1 and Mass Effect 2(almost broke into tears listening to the music) 😅 the music for the game was (IS) so perfect it always brought the perfect mood for the game in every scene. the gameplay, and the story was always written out so well that even to this day I could still play through the game a hundred times over and still never get sick of it. andromeda, I felt had been a bit of a fall still had a pretty good story, but nothing compared to that of Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3, i really hope you guys don't cut any corners and take your time the M.E. universe is a genuine Gem you've created, and I'd love to see such a game flourish in the community again. but more importantly to me the music that would go with such a comeback. (I'm rooting for every team member working on the new game you all have me so excited you have no idea) 👍

So... outside the windows when the character is walking, those are definitely those Protean/Reaper towers they've shown in concept art during previous N7 day. Which means the game definitely takes place a long after original trilogy and there is no way in hell this character is Shepard.

@@nathi060200 Except lore tidbits we've known so far and natural flow of time [and by that I mean it'd have to take a long time to clean up after the Reaper War, discover the knowledge stored in Reapers [no matter the ending] and rebuild suggest that the game doesn't take place years after the war, it's hundred of years. Ressurecting even Shepard would've been a massive stretch.
Mass Effect lives in Todd's brain for free. The music, the Galaxy, the aesthetic, the whole vibe is just something bigger than pretty much any Sci-Fi game, or movie for that fact, has produced in years.

This trailer didn’t hit as hard as the last on imo, there’s not even much to analyze because they make it blurry and dark in the other places for some reason.

I think 3 overall is my favorite, that's saying a lot considering the ending. 3 just feels so good as a game the mechanics are solid. 2 is my most nostalgic. And 1 is that weird friend who you enjoy hanging out with but only in short bursts then they get annoying. Just a great series. Never played Andromeda

Planet looks like it might be Noveria. The area around the research labs where you find the Rachni Queen and Benezia in ME1 looked a bit like what we see in the vid. Big, dark bunkers with big vehicle gates opening up to wide, highway like streets in snowy terrain. And at 0:10, that right there is an Andromeda OST. It plays when you first encounter Peebee on Eos, while you're about to reset the Remnant monolith and she tackles you.
Hmmm... so I guess the merge of old school Mass Effect and Andromeda elements is pretty solidly confirmed then? Man, I'm hyped. Can't wait for this one.

The music! The sound effects! They're all very Mass Effect, which should go without saying, but many long-running franchises nowadays seems to want to ditch their roots behind, so I'm glad this gives off the feel of Mass effect with just 34 seconds! Hope it's good

Absolutely great! The music is awesome, the armor has a great design and the cloak looks cool. I hope so much that Mass Effect 5 gets back to its old strength and that ideally all the strengths from Mass Effect 1-4 are combined, while all the weak points are eradicated. Apart from the Gothic Remake, there's no other announced game I'm looking forward to as much as the new Mass Effect.
This is Mass effect 4, Andromeda is not 4, I'm sorry. That was a spin off that will never be brought back or mentioned ever again. Please refer to this as 4.

The new Mass Effect doesn't have an official title yet, so I'm calling it Mass Effect 5 because it's the fifth game in the series. If you said Mass Effect 4, many people would think you meant Andromeda, and that would cause even more confusion. Everyone should know what is meant by Mass Effect 5. What's more, the new Mass Effect is also a sequel to Andromeda, as the official website for the game talks about a distress signal from an Andromeda galaxy. Therefore, the new Mass Effect is also set AFTER the events of Andromeda. So it's basically also Mass Effect 5. Whatever it's officially called at release, I'm sure it won't be Mass Effect 4 or Mass Effect 5.

LOVE the Trilogy. Played multiple times, could only finish the 4th once, never touched it again. I hope they find and bring back Shepard, they teased it last time.
I'm fine with Shepard not being the lead. Shepard's a good lead and all, but where 3 ended (despite the controversy) I think is a good place to leave 'em. Maybe have Shepard come back in a Captain Anderson or Admiral Hackett-esque role, but I would much rather see a united Mass Effect that allows for some character customization. Let me be a Turian or Salarian or what not! Though I'm probably just dreaming here.

Y'know, one of the teaser images from last year referred to us as "agents", and I'm getting strong espionage vibes from this teaser here. Also with yesterdays teases we know the Andromeda Initiative is involved somehow, meaning the new game could be set 600+ years after ME3. Assuming Liara lived trough ME3, she'd be just over 700 years old and quite possibly still the Shadow Broker.

just relaxed to the 4-hour trilogy soundtrack for mass effect and I can't believe even after all these years I can still listen to any song from those games and still just bop along to it as though it was the first time I heard it, the nostalgia I got reminded me back when I would sit in the cabin watching my father play mass effect 1 and Mass Effect 2(almost broke into tears listening to the music) 😅
the music for the game was (IS) so perfect it always brought the perfect mood for the game in every scene. the gameplay, and the story was always written out so well that even to this day I could still play through the game a hundred times over and still never get sick of it.
andromeda, I felt had been a bit of a fall still had a pretty good story, but nothing compared to that of Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3, i really hope you guys don't cut any corners and take your time the M.E. universe is a genuine Gem you've created, and I'd love to see such a game flourish in the community again. but more importantly to me the music that would go with such a comeback.

So... outside the windows when the character is walking, those are definitely those Protean/Reaper towers they've shown in concept art during previous N7 day. Which means the game definitely takes place a long after original trilogy and there is no way in hell this character is Shepard.

@@nathi060200 Except lore tidbits we've known so far and natural flow of time [and by that I mean it'd have to take a long time to clean up after the Reaper War, discover the knowledge stored in Reapers [no matter the ending] and rebuild suggest that the game doesn't take place years after the war, it's hundred of years. Ressurecting even Shepard would've been a massive stretch.
