Okurr, here's what I was talking about in the beginning of the video. Bear with me, lol.
So the vanity mirror I use to apply my makeup or do little beauty treatments shows an overall general view of what things look like. It's not until I use the magnifying mirror that I really see what going on. But if you know about magnifying mirrors, unless your super close to it looking in, the image you'll see is distorted and wonky.
You have to be so up close to a situation to see into it clearly, but every single thing that you observe is magnified. Highlighted. Small blemishes in the larger mirror look insignificant, but in the magnifying mirror...they can overwhelm you. Tiny things can look like monstrous destructive forces. Staying locked on to the bad things can make it seem like there is nothing good at all. Overtime hyper-focusing on the things that are wrong can distort your vision.
Imperfections are inevitable, but you can't let them define the overall view of your life. Every detail in life is part of a grander plan. Even the ones that seem flawed and wrong. Don't miss the beauty of your life by focusing on the parts of you don't like. Change the things that you can, accept the things you can't, and realize that it's all still the beautiful garden of you. Progress, not perfection. God was using these mirrors to speak to me about my anxiety and my life. He told me to Reflect.
