Love the retro look of the Gendarmes! They really bring back memories of heading into the little shop there used to be in Windsor that sold all the Hinchcliffe and Minifigs

Thanks for sharing, Fraser. Those RoE American infantry look like amazing sculpts and would compliment your existing Bolt Action American collection quite nicely. Such an amazing gift. Maybe a winter theme for the ROE models? More game time at your club sounds excellent but weekends and family time is always a thing. For the next three months whilst I wait for my new house to be built, I have more down time than normal and my 2024 resolution is to complete a 28mm WWII British Commandos army supplemented by some British Airborne for Bolt Action Wishing you all the best from across the pond, my friend. Hi VK. Rules of Engagement is a platoon level set from Great Escape Games. It's still our favourite for WW2, even after trying CoC and BA.

The Gerdames are looking very nice indeed. Those inserts are rather handy, though I used the trays myself with magnetic bottoms. I worry to much of models bouncing around!

Those Gendarmes are terrific. And as others have said, the WW2 US infantry are OOP Bolt Action figures ( before Warlord Games bought the company) sculpted by Paul Hicks. That is some haul your friend gave you.

Great video! Great Escape makes some awesome miniatures and make the best plastic wild west gunfighters. The models look superb and have a ton of extra bits to make every gunfighter look unique.

They look like original Bolt Action sculpts by Paul Hicks. Sadly don't think you can find these anywhere anymore. At least Empress has the updated range.
