If you don't own an eyedropper, simply use a straw to add a few drops of water. You can't remove water from your drink once you've added it!

How much water should you add? Drops? A whole dropper full?
perrystyle42 A few drops at a time, one or two, it sounds tedious but you don’t want to drown your whiskey. Once it’s added, you can’t subtract it.

It's entirely your choice!
Whiskey is a finished product. Meaning, a 15 year old whiskey, kept for 100 years, is still a 15 year old whiskey. Whiskey has a low tannin content, so not much has the propensity to happen. Exposure to oxygen has a spirit of 40% ABV or higher does little to nothing.
If you want it to look pretty, great! Use a decanter! My personal opinion is the bottle itself is sometimes a work of art.
The only proper whiskey storage concerns are: KEEP OUT of DIRECT SUNLIGHT, Keep at ROOM TEMPERATURE (if it's cold it could get cloudy, this will not affect the taste, it's an aesthetic change) and using NON LEAD CRYSTAL DECANTER. NO LEAD in the Crystal. The lead will affect the taste and safety because of lead leaching. Otherwise, it is completely up to you.

3 things that can ruin whiskey.
1.Light
2.Extreme temperature (too hot too cold)
3.air
Store in a dark place between 60-72°F with a nice tight seal. Tip bottles up side down then back up right again to wet the cork this will help it swell if the bottles won't be touched for a while. Also any half empty bottles that you don't intend to finish with in a couple months. Pour into a smaller container with a nice tight seal. to reduce air volume in the container. Follow these tips and you're collection will be delicious for a very long time.
@@thewhiskeyhouse5648 you can buy your own small oak barrel and continue aging the 15 yr old once it hits oak again it will age again. True if you leave it in the bottle it will not age another second. But oak will re start the aging process. 5 years in another oak barrel turns it into a 20 year old whiskey. But I recommend if you do this you taste it once every couple months. To be sure you're not ruining the whiskey. Especially in a warm climate the oak will change the whiskey dramatically very fast. Also remember that with scotch the age statement indicates the age of the youngest whisky in the bottle. That 15 yo bottle can have a small % of 50 yo whisky in it as well.
Beware cheap whiskey rocks! I was given a set and they made the scotch taste of dirt. Straight in the trash.
Best way to drink it chilled is to be cold blood ;)

I drink alcohol only to get drunk, i dont understand people who claim that they enjoy drinking something with a taste of a Fire in their mouth, and if they do well i got bad news :) Alcohol is only meant to get u drunk nothing more, if it was sweet, even better but yeah u got my point
How to drink your whiskey? The way you love to drink it. Neat,rocks(1-2 ice cubes),with water, cocktail. The choice is yours. Just as long as you are enjoying your whisky. Your money your way. Yes I used both spelling methods of the word whiskey.
You lost me at “use a dropper”. Punch me in the fucking face if you ever see me use a dropper to put water in my drink.

I cant drink whiskey neat... Always want to vomit everytime i taste any whiskey... I hate the smell the flavor... So what i do is... Shot it and cleanse it with coca cola.... Ahhh yes.... Someone like me dont deserve to drink whiskey ... Dont be like me.... Lool but really though how can yall enjoy the flavor? There is no sweet or salty in it just plain unbearable smell and taste... Beer is much better option for me...
Years before I had same with beer. Flavor of any was horrible. And now It's ok mostly :) I think difference is mostly in brain, because taste cups generally are the same.
