Thank you so much for making this video. Our plastic piece broke, the flange had broken off. I took everything apart and found the flange broken off at the bottom of the dryer. My thing was is I took everything apart and forgot to take a picture of it so I could refer to it on how to put it back together. So thanks to you for making the video so I could see how everything went back together
Thank you so very much for the outstanding video explaination on how to replace the idler pulley assembly. You were very detailed in ever step showing each tab for each panel and screws. I have the whole kit with a new belt, 4 rollers and the idler assembly and now feel comfortable in taking this apart and putting it back together properly. Hats off to you sir!
Was able to use this guide to change out the idler, belt, and rollers on DV45K7600EW. Now she purrs like a kitten. Thanks for helping me flex on all the rival dads in the cul-de-sac!
Thank you for answering my question in the thumbnail photo of the video. I still watched the video and it was great but I am super impressed that you knew the importance of that image enough to make it your thumbnail. Cheers!
Thank you for a great video! I used it for the removal and installation. The video was spot on since your dryer was very similar to ours. Only made one mistake. I kept getting a d3 error on the screen which meant an open door. Dummy here forgot to connect the door switch plug.
This a very helpful video. I've had this dryer apart a few times. First to change the idler pulley and then to change the rollers. Definitely an engineering flaw from Samsung.
Sounds like Samsung got rid of the access door in the back of the drier to make a $200 service call justifiable. I did this in less then 5 min on my parent's old drier. Didn't have to remove just about everything.
Thank you for the detailed instructions. We changed the pulley and rollers. We have a bit of a shake now when the dryer is running (feet are level). We did not have the pink band to the back so took it apart and flipped that around. The shake is still there. Any suggestions?
A problem to note is the original screw for the pulley might be really tight. I striped the screw pretty bad. If you run into the screw not wanting to move at first I used a #3 Phillips and it finally came out.
I put some 3-in-1 oil on the threads (to the degree possible) and tapped on the screw with a small hammer. It probably took me 10 minutes but finally got the screw to break loose.
Your are so right, but my dryer and washer are in a small room and hard to move around so I went with the video. At 6’6”, I need more room to work. But, if I had the room, I would have used your method without a doubt.
Yeah I disagree. After having done this repair numerous times, I can tell you accessing it from the front, while maybe more stuff to take apart, is the way to go. As Jerry mentioned below, you have to pull it out completely, which isn't always convenient and then try to get more than one hand in that area to mess around with taking the belt off and putting it back on once you have replaced the pulley. I can imagine it now and it doesn't sound fun lol.
Ironically my dryer does not have a cover that can be removed. The only thing that can be removed is the blower exhaust which is a really small hole so I needed this video to take the whole dryer apart
Way too complicated , it's so much much more efficient to just remove the cover to the dryer vent and go in through there , no more than 10 minutes !!! This is most likely the way technicians are tought to take up more time !

I’ve had to change three of these on the same Samsung dryer in a four year period. Thank you for the fantastic instructions!
We used your video today and everything worked out GREAT! You saved us a lot of money! Thank you!
This video was very helpful, thank you. The hardest part is wrapping the belt around the idler assembly when the drum is blocking your vision.
One of the best visuals I've seen, thanks!
These guys are the best. They have guided me through several repairs saving me hundreds!!
Glad we were able to help you! If there is anything we can help you with in the future please let us know.

Great video! Thanks for all the detailed guidance. We saved a lot of money by repairing the dryer ourselves.

Awesome video. I just replaced this pulley and my rollers at the same time! Also cleaned out all the lint! Runs smooth like butter!
Glad you were able to fix your issue! If there is anything we can help you with in the future please let us know.

If that’s the only part you’re replacing, you can go through the exhaust port in the back. Saves from taking apart the entire machine.
Thank you for the tip!
Thank you guys so so Much.
I was able to fix my Dryer watching this Video.
You guys are Amazing!
God Bless ~
Thanks for the awesome video! Made it super simple to fix! Great job guys! 👍🏻👍🏻

Just used this video to help replace a bad dryer belt. Thanks!

Great tutorial!!!! I did it myself!!!
Glad we were able to assist you!

This was super helpful, I have an older model but it was still almost 100% step for step.
Thank you. This helped me fix my own dryer.

Very detail DIY video thank you.
What if you can't get the belt hooked on the pulley system? There is not enough slack on the belt.
Good job well done 👏

I was coming at it in the reverse direction and therefore twisting the wrong direction. Smh
I put some 3-in-1 oil on the threads (to the degree possible) and tapped on the screw with a small hammer. It probably took me 10 minutes but finally got the screw to break loose.
I put a smaller spring in, and now the dryer motor doesn’t start running. Help!
My dryer has the pink to the front. model # dv42h5200gw/a3 Is it wrong?
At the pulley the belt seems awful close to the other side of the best where they cross.
dude this is over complicated... lol you only need to remove the cover near the blower exhaust and you can get to it...

Weird my drum came off the dryer with the pink side forward
My dryer also was like that. I put it back in as the video showed. Works great.
Mine was the same and I switched it.

Are you talking about accessing it from the back? I would like to know for future maintenance
