@@Akastaten highly unexpected but much appreciated sir. We are not at your level, but this coming year will bring some big changes to our format. We have a cave diving channel that has done fairly well this year but with the cooler weather coming back, we are going to focus on Airsoft.

Great video dude, really informative. As I’m just getting into sniping and teching my own rifle it helps to have the knowledge of someone that’s been through all the mistakes and troubleshooting of upgrading.

she would have liked the Action Army T11, great VSR platform that looks different and also has sooo much more internal updates than the ancient TM vsr platform

Thanks for the breakdown. I went with an AA T11 mostly as I shoot cross dominant but this is very helpful from a cost breakdown standpoint
AA is a decent platform for sure.

I got a tm vsr10 for my first sniper I did some aa mods to it the bolt pull was definitely a lot harder and it was much louder so I got the wraith co2 kit from Wolverine it’s so smooth and quiet and the fps is the same I absolutely love hpa snipers now I’m not sure I’ll go back to springs

I think the ssg10 is the best sniper to start without any upgrades, but I prefer the srs a2 silverback 16 because it's good and compact

@@Akastaten also the trigger unit is made of crap and the outer barrel is not even good. Air leaking everywhere... a nightmare

That was a very useful breakdown - thank you. Like you I'm spoilt enough to have both the SRS and a VSR (shhh I have the Ares 02 as well) but knowing what you said about the SSG was a fair comparison.
But you're right, both the SRS and the VSR, as great as they are, do have issues - in the main, they cost!
SRS: do you have a lot of money to spare? Do you mind a heavy rifle? That will answer that decision right there!
The srs is much better in the states as we dont have a juele limit
@@shanerobertson1464 hey Shane, the SRS is an impressive bit of kit, but still not without their issues - I have now sold all my single shots (apart from my K98) for the TAC41, which is an awesome gun (again a few issues, but nothing that can't be overcome).
With the EDGI piston and spring, it outclasses nearly all others.even at 470fps and 2.3j (albeit in the UK) :)
Thanks for this great review, i have a striker AS02 but i just can't get it to shoot and it shit to tech on. So I was thinking about either the ssg10a3 or the srs. Now I know the ssg10 is more something for me
Europe, America, Taiwan and Thailand I think you can bring your personal rifles. But here in the Philippines it will be impossible and be hold in the customs. The only thing you can bring your rifle is by shipping it to Hong Kong. There a guy in Hong Kong who use to be an airsoft shipping guy from Hong Kong to Philippines about a month. That's why Christoph didn't have the chance to bring his vsr10 and pistol. However gears such as bdu, loadout gears and etc.

Great review, and what you said about techs rings true. If there is a problem why not just fix it?
It’s very rarely because of a part being faulty. Some parts don’t work with others because of tolerances being different etc.

Great video, I'd definitely agree that the ssg10 is great value compared to upgrading a vsr based gun, which hurts to say since I build guns. But I bought one myself and its awesome. Cheers for the mention in the video 😊

The only what you need for beginning as a airsoft sniper in 2021 is....
Just a green coat and a AAP-01 with a stock, a scope and a few magazines.

I have a striker. Don’t bet the as01 it’s a waste of money. Just buy the as02 cuz it has a 90 degree sear and a short outer barrel for better air volume and just buy a new cylinder (not cylinder kit just the cylinder it’s self) and get a gun smithy hop arm and a maple leaf bucking.
Yeh I had the Gunsmithy for mine and had good results
I just got the SSg10 A1 and it’s way better than the ares striker.

Im going to buy the SSG10 and want to upgrade it with all the stuff u mentioned: silencer +adapter, airbrakes, gunsmithy TDC, bucking and the MK2 scope(new).
Are all these mentioned still the best options now that we are in 2023?
PS: im from the Netherlands so i can go 2.2J with only .40 bbs MAX.

Check out Skirmshop NL. SBA DTSS suppressor is best out there. Tridos TDC is very good as is the new ActionArmy grey hop unit or TTI TDC hop unit. SRHop and stainless steel Morpheus.

I really love your content and the amount of knowledge you have is incredible! So if I can, I’d have one question for you. My field doesn’t have FPS limit and I am going to buy SSG10, but can’t decide which spring would be better, M220(5j) or M160(2,8j)?

Love the video and love the info. What be your advice on the Ares Amoeba Striker Tactical T1 for a 1st rifle in the sniper department?
The biggest problems with the As01 (and as02) are the crappy cylinders that fall apart after a couple of games. The kneecapper sorted this by making a one piece cylinder so hopefully they added this to the T1! The second problem is the air volume ratio. It’s a very long barrel and a very small cylinder. How you can fix that is using a 300mm Crazyjet Barrel (or some tightbore of your choosing) and then internally suppressing the rest of the barrel (or get a short outer to match)

Are the M61 Snipers worth modding if you are on a budget? Double Eagle, Lancer, BbTac
I’m not sure. I would need to look into them
My advice is usually get an MK23 or SSG10. Cheap clones sometimes can’t take upgrades and don’t perform well. An inaccurate sniper rifle isn’t enjoyable at all

0.4/0.43g and I have been using Hotshot from Skirmshop. If they aren’t available I use BLS

@@paulailey9853 sorry about that! I mix using my in ear monitors then review via laptop speakers. I always turn my intro music down and my vocals up and run the over all audio through a compressor.
