If you’re keto you’re not carnivore. Just because it might be a meat heavy diet it can’t be called carnivore. Carnivore is no carbs, as carbs are not an essential nutrient for human beings. You should never be on a calorie deficit. Your body thinks it’s starving. You’ll need to relearn what you think you know about health and weigh loss. Calories don’t matter as much as required nutrients (fat and protein). Try clean carnivore (just meat and eggs, no dairy). Eat double portions initially… this is priming. Replenishing the body with essential nutrients (fatty acids and amino acids). Leaving out what is not needed… carbs. The keto foods are ruining your bodies natural mechanisms (which is to be far adapted). The carbs stop your body utilising the fat stores for energy.
It sounds like your body is healing only you might need to up the fat a bit and just eat meat, eggs and healthy fats. I understand it takes awhile to start losing weight because your body prioritizes healing then starts letting go of the excess fat. I've watched tons of videos on the subject! Also, some people start losing weight right away on carnivore. It's different for everyone. Four years ago I tried the carnivore diet and combined it with alternative day fasting and that worked for me but I fell off the wagon because at about 3 weeks I started craving veggies! Need to do it again. Hope this helps 😊
doesn't matter what diet we use. The caloric deficit still needs to be there to lose weight. Carnivore is simply very good to help you autoregulate and to avoid hunger but at the end of the day you are still at a caloric deficit if you lose weight, doesn't matter if you think you are or not. If you are not losing weight you are not in a caloric deficit. Carnivore makes the deficit very easy to achieve though.
