Patience is golden. Creating a feeding frenzy before you drop the lines makes total sense. By the way, nice boat!! Doesn't get much better than an Andros....
Fished with Rush years ago several times with my friends and family. Amazing guide great teacher and fantastic attitude. Always put us on amazing fish. Still rates at the best times I ever had on the water.
I have a quarter left to go for season one. I wanna see all the Penn rods and Penn reels that you guys use in the later episodes, I’m not seeing any Penn gear so far in season 1.
+Ali Hussainy I fish out of SE Florida, and I recently purchased a 65ld saltiga and I was looking to pair it with something in the 8-9ft range for pier/jetty and party boat fishing. Is there something you would recommend?
+A Dalloul I wouldn't go longer than 8' for general fishing. We like the Terez rods and the New terramar series. Terramars are very hard to beat for the buck. Good luck amigo.

That's awesome! Rush is the man in the keys!
The quality of this show is unreal and I am engaged throughout all the episodes. Its more than a typical fishing show. Keep it up!
Great videos. Can’t wait to hit the keys soon 👍

PENN was not a sponsor until Season 3.
I have used a lil bit of everything
great video I have a question does that Yellow Tail you used as bait count towards your daily limit of snapper?
Until it’s not hooked or in your boat
Not hooked or not in your boat
Honestly I haven’t seen pilchards in the keys lol just blue runners and ballyhoo. Maybe that’s what I’m doing wrong
They are found on the flats in 1-5' of water surrounding the island. They are a must for most keys fishing. Get a cast net and get after it!
Local Knowledge Fishing Show wow thank you so much. The first fish off the humps with the pilchards will be in your honor 👍
I'm ready to go! Great pancakes. How do I schedule a trip?
Check out Odysseasportfishing.com to fish with Rush. Thanks for watching!
What is that red rod you have paired with the baitcaster? and what is it rated for?
It's an 8' Terez in the medium/heavy action. Not sure what the rating is but it's my solid all around rod. Really nice set up.
