Call me crazy but I think some mothers raise their daughters to date wealthy men, have a child and be an at home wife/mother then in about 5-10 years divorce him and get everything. That what's some of these dusty mothers teach their daughters.
Imagine being divorced from someone for 2 years, and still demanding support from that ex. That boggles the mind. I understand spousal support for maybe a few months to get your bearings and feet settled after a divorce. But once your divorced and you’ve gone your separate ways, I don’t think any partner should be required to keep giving money to support that person.
This ex-wife seems to resent her husband’s well-paid job. I’m sure he gets well paid because he’s a well educated, smart, and hard worker. I’m glad the judge shut her down.
the entire concept of spousal support is so wrong and immoral. This lady is pretty much saying "I want nothing at all to do with this guy, but I sure do enjoy his money". What a deadbeat!
In most cases spousal support isn’t awarded. The cases where it is awarded esp in Texas (where JVB is located) the spouse seeking support has to be solely relying on the working partner for financial support.
the problem is some spouses will spend 25 years as the homemaker. When divorced they have no marketable skills (or if they do very outdated). It will take and money to be able to either get retrained and or find a job. I do think 2 years is plenty of time to get retrained and or find a suitable job.
It's because the woman gave up her youth, and raised the children, while he was able to pursue a career. She can't go back and get a career now, and shouldn't be thrown into poverty just because they're divorced. They build TOGETHER and not only he should reap those benefits

Call me crazy but I think some mothers raise their daughters to date wealthy men, have a child and be an at home wife/mother then in about 5-10 years divorce him and get everything. That what's some of these dusty mothers teach their daughters.
@@blackqueenmelanin1449 I definitely do NOT doubt that!

Don't get married
Imagine being divorced from someone for 2 years, and still demanding support from that ex. That boggles the mind. I understand spousal support for maybe a few months to get your bearings and feet settled after a divorce. But once your divorced and you’ve gone your separate ways, I don’t think any partner should be required to keep giving money to support that person.
Very Greedy Old woman. She shouldn't have divorced in the first place
This ex-wife seems to resent her husband’s well-paid job. I’m sure he gets well paid because he’s a well educated, smart, and hard worker. I’m glad the judge shut her down.
Did she look and act like this before they we'd⁉️ The 'red flags' were waving👎
He divorced her for a hotter younger girl way to go dude!

the entire concept of spousal support is so wrong and immoral.
@@shannonbrice8012 Wish my divorce could have happened in Texas!
It's because the woman gave up her youth, and raised the children, while he was able to pursue a career. She can't go back and get a career now, and shouldn't be thrown into poverty just because they're divorced. They build TOGETHER and not only he should reap those benefits
@@trishajam3117 she most certainly can get a career. This is 2021.
He paid quite a bit to not have to listen to this woman ever again. Very glad he wasn't forced to pay more!

Judge said, “ this case is dismissed and so are you”.😂😂
I love how she sees both side of the story we need more judges like her too many lazy moms out there who just want child support money for themselves and the courts are letting them get away with it
If every judge was like this going to court would be a lot less anxiety ridden for the innocent people. Brings me confidence in the civil justice system and if criminal justice system is remotely similar it boosts my confidence in that too. These new generation judges are what we need more of in this world.
Lol it's not unfortunately 😭

I agree. My son had an old woman who resided over a master hearing. His rotten greedy ex wife received more than she deserved. The old master implied his was lying but ex-wife was the liar and received more than she deserved from a 33 month marriage.
It really says something when the other person doesn't even bother to show up and you still lose the case.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I've lived in Texas all my life and I have never heard of Texas having spousal support or alimony. When did that start?
This show is going to be big. I just found out about this through IG. Gotta binge watch now.

I just finished the video. After receiving a quarter of a million dollars she should have paid off the balance of the house, made sure all bills were current and she had no outstanding debts. After that invest the rest and live on a budget. Never be foolish with your money, especially when you get a large sum like she did.

Ain't that the truth!
Shame on her. You had 250K and you somehow want more? Must be bad with money or really greedy. Once divorce, any earnings he makes afterwards doesn't go towards your spousal maintainnce. Now if she had kids and she knew of these raises, then thats one thing but she's not bringing that scenario up at all. Do better girl.

She getting paid half my paycheck every week just for… being married to him. He’s paying for the house too. Like people wonder why men don’t want to get married, here’s why. You won’t see many men getting any spousal anything in a divorce.
This woman got half his fucking retirement, spousal support, and a free house. Sure raising kids has value, but does it have THAT much value when the kids are already grown up. A man would get none of that
I dont understand spousal support. If you're divorced he shouldnt have to pay his ex wife to fucking live she should be taking care of herself

@@emmameyer2295 Someone has to raise the kids and its usually the woman who makes all the career sacrifices. Its better than leaving your poor defenseless babies with strangers who don't love them. Then when your kids are grown, you're no longer marketable. That's why spousal support exists because, otherwise, a man can use a woman for child rearing a house work then leave her destitute as they did for centuries.
Another example of a strong independent woman. But she needs her ex to keep supporting her even though she got the house and $16,900 annual payments plus $250,000 in retirement account. At least she tried I guess. My advice to young men is don’t ever get married. It’s not worth it with the system rigged and the gold diggers out there.
