    Amazing video!
    I like using FO against WA like this:
    Usually, the WA only has a single warrior to protect their base. Then I use FO to remove that single warrior from there and destroy the undefended base. This saves me from having to use the dice to battle the WA and try to remove the warrior. It's devastating for the WA. =)

    Greetings. Love your videos.
    LotH could use False Orders to great effect to drag Keepers warriors (along with their prized trophies) into a clearing with a mob. Then Raze!!! Take that!

      Yes that's true! I didn't mention that interaction in this video only because it is pretty situational but I made a short about it awhile back. Any Keepers in Iron players need to know to be extra careful of False Orders for this reason.

    Just realised today another reason that False Orders is so so good for WA. If it's in your hand turn one, crafting becomes a no brainer for two reasons.
    1. As you mentioned, it can let you get your choice of sympathy that you might need to revolt and get your second base, which is more flexible than the fox sympathy it gets you if you mobilise it. Great!
    2. Less obviously, you can use it to get around the 5 supporter limit for having no base...
    Say you mobilise it along with your other 2 starting cards turn 1, then get moved and battled twice, that's 7 supporters total, so 2 lost to the cap. BUT, if you craft FO first, you'll end your turn with 2 supporters instead. This means that when you get move/battled twice, that's 6 supporters total, losing just 1 to the cap...
    THEN you can use FO on your turn after spending some of the 5 total supporters to gain another supporter, getting past the cap twice... once by having less supporters and thus being further from the cap, and once by gaining a bonus supporter after spending some of the ones you have.
    Niche, but cool interaction that. Always craft FO as WA.

      Wow! I hadn't even thought about how it's better crafted than mobilized! Those are great points!

    Its also worth mentioning that false orders can break up martial law, meaning that once crafted it can be equivalent to a bird sympathy in a pinch.

      Can't believe I forgot to put that in the presentation and then also forgot to mention it while speaking live. My mind was so focused on the "sympathy in a pinch" effect that I totally forgot about it being used to break up marital law! Good point that I'll add as a footnote in the next video.

    Just to be sure… when using false orders against the underground duchy, you are allowed to move units to and from the burrow if the clearing has a tunnel right ?

    • @nitrorev
      @nitrorev  Год назад +1

      Yes, it's a normal move that that faction would be able to make. You can force the duchy into or out of the burrow and you can force the Riverfolk company (or another player who has crafted boatbuilders) to move along the river.

    Hey, Nitro! Have a question for ya. Teaching a newbie in a few days alongside a player who has 6 or so games under his belt. What are the 'easiest' or more straight-forward factions to teach so new players don't feel overwhelmed? Thanks!

    • @nitrorev
      @nitrorev  Год назад

      My go to answer is the Corvid Conspiracy hands down!
      Relatively simple gameplay that revolves entirely around their plot tokens and 3 static actions. They don't need to worry about ruling to move and if they start struggling, you as the teacher can be nice to them and let them flip for 5-15 points to catch up and get back in the running very easily to keep them competitive. The only rule they need to be careful about is that a warrior is required in order to flip plots.
      Cats are strategically too complicated even if their actions are simple and birds can be very anxiety inducing.

    Hey Nitro, I had an outrageous idea for an intro for the best series on RUclips right now. I don't know if you're a The Office fan, but there's this scene where Michal and Holly start dancing and singing "Let's get ethical". I thought you could put the face of woodland creatures in their heads and sing "Let's get CRAFTY! CRAFTY" lol. I would do it myself, but I don't know how to edit videos.
    Anyway man, great job! Loving the videos.

    What is s tier?

    • @nitrorev
      @nitrorev  Год назад

      It means amazing, the best tier there is. I'm not sure what the origin is but the tier list system generally goes from F (the worst) to A with S being better than A.

      @@nitrorev intuitively that is what i figured....for 100 years A being best was considered just fine.....someone had to change things for change sakes : ) I can't wait to start a new system to confuse the next generation
