It’s an amazing car, my first car I got it in manual I use it as a daily and it’s just fun to drive always. It’s a head turner and a definite conversation starter with random people. It’s a definite 10/10 recommend if you’re looking to get one. Just good luck finding one under $35k
Dunno if its just me, but I always thought the old BRZ/86 had a very insect look in its headlights and tail lights. This new design is leaps and bounds better looking!
Hey Cameron, this sixty year old is waiting for delivery of his, before xmas I hope, same spec/colour as your test car but with the manual of course. Every review confirms my choice. I can't wait.
Glad to hear! We're grabbing a manual one to review later next month. So if you're subscribed, you'll see my review on that too. Aside from the transmission, it's an awesome sports car.
@@galuhrichata6148 Hahaha, yes mate, I got it at the beginning of October. I now only have about 1500kms on it and you are right, my smile is almost as wide as the one the BRZ wears. Great little car.
@@imanenigma3348 glad to hear that, Sir. I ordered the auto a few months ago. Personally I prefer the manual, but since the car is for my wife, and she will drive it daily thru lots of traffic, so we thought the auto will be a wiser choice.
@@ProductReviewCars precisely it just looks like a fun car. Saying that the BRZ is still a very good car. For me it depends on the dealer's price markups, cause sometimes they're just outlandish.
Hi Cameron, nice video! If I may ask, between the mx5 and the current brz which steering do you prefer? Which in particular has more weight to it? Thanks for info!
Subaru keep pushing autos…short changing them in the BRZ and WRX on safety features. Subaru have never been much good at listening to what their customers really want. They got the new BRZ pretty right however…in manual form!
Real drivers don't want or need nanny stuff. Which is why, in Australia at least, manuals are 80% of sales. For the BRZ. Apparently Toyota drivers can't, and 80% of GR86s are auto.
It's not all about speed or the quarter mile/400m times or the dyno figures pissing contest. Think, healthy athletic track and field chick, versus , tattooed, porn queen with bolt ons! It's a "drivers" car, that is what the steering wheel is for mate.

Needs the manual for sure. Just makes you want to drive it at every opportunity.

It's a lot better integrated here for sure.

So has it arrived yet, Sir? I imagine you are driving your new BRZ with super wide smile.

I like the gr86 more, it just looks sportier in my opinion.
Totally. They nailed that front end and ducktail spoiler design.

@@sonicthehedgehog989 fingers crossed as Toyota releases the 86, prices can relax a little for the BRZ
Nice video bro 🔥
Thanks 🔥!!

Thank you! MX-5 all the way for feel. BRZ is a little heavier.
Hi there, are the rear seats able to fold down?
Yup! You can fit four spare wheels in the back for a track day!
Very appealing vehicle.....if only I didn't have a family!
Imagine a wagon version!
2.4 is a nice step up, but I’ll never dig the look of the 22 BRZ
it looks way better in person, i was surprised when i got mine. 2d doesnt do it justice believe me ;)
It's a little more elegant and a little less angular than the old one. Definitely has been dividing people online.
It’s way better looking than its slab-sided predecessor

It really is.

And now a Subaru Outback Turbo is on its way to Australia soon!

MT IS BEST
That review is coming in a few weeks
wow for once the auto is slower. On every other car the auto is always faster.😅
It's still a torque converter on this on so it's always slower.
Strange right!? Doesn't make a great case for it to exist unless you can't drive manual.
Slow asf
Decently quick compared to other hot hatches at the same price. But it'll eat up those corners a lot better.
