In the UK there are places like this hut called "Bothys". Old cottages that have been converted for the use of hikers, walkers, campers etc to use for free. They are usually in remote/semi remote locations and can be a godsend to those that get caught out by unexpected weather.
Afternoon Dave nice little camp that you took us on tour with and I'm thinking that piece of equipment was left over was a tractors or something in that type of line. Thanks for sharing bud
Whoa that's an awesome cabin! I just love your endless curiosity and enthusiasm for these places🏚 It's on my bucket list to get out to Montana🏞 Thanks for sharing!
Mr. Dave that is too cool. Beautiful area. Thank you for sharing and God Bless you and your family. Stay safe and I will see you on your next video. 🥰👍👍👍👍👍(🌹🐞🦂🌵)
All the old snow machines had tracks. Just like tanks .... Big Underground project areas are so well hidden Mines are amazing how much got moved and filled into dangerous cracks in the ground....
Great video. I wish you read outloud some of the messages on the wall and in the log books. What was the earliest date on the wall or log books? Still super cool and Thanks for sharing your experience. Looking forward to more adventures....🙂 Maybe not go alone next time. be safe
I'm really happy that your a NEW EXPLORER learning more every trip . It's so important to start somewhere. Not everyone has the blessings of family members that take you meny place's teaching you as a child so much history that gets covered up because of secret projects & program's Needing protection.. Keep exploring and learning

They're not ore carts, they're ore cars.i know it's easy to call them carts.this place is on my list of things to see, there are alot of cool old mines just in idaho from montana
I haven't even finished watching the video but I subscribed because it's such a beautiful scenery anyways I got to go back and watch the rest of the video looks good 👍👍👍😊
great video, another RUclipsr (TVR Exploring) Recently discovered in a mine-exploring video a vehicle of the same type. Probably a military vehicle - airplane tug.
No it's abnormal for people to break in every time you go out but it happens, a group of thugs trying to make a point, maybe you should move if that happens to you! Outrageous!
"Having the location known, nobody's going to come out here?" Didn't you just show 3 or 4 log books full of signatures???? You're not making any sense. Where the F are you from? Montana and Idaho are in America.
Yeah, I'm sure half my viewer demographic from New York are going to fly out to Montana to see an abandoned mine. Lol, you're a special kind of stupid🤣. Obviously Montana and Idaho are in the U.S. wtf are you smoking?
So, you trespass on some1s property and call it abandoned, and then pilferage threw it when you clearly did not have permission to even be there. They should lock you up. Where da fk do you think a cabin should be other than the woods. Maybe a hunting cabin, or somewhere the owner could go to get away from thing. you should be jailed, and bottom line YOU DID NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO BE THERE!!!
😂🤣, watch the full video bud. I made fun of people like you half way through it. I'm an American citizen on tax payer land. As a tax payer, I own the land this cabin sits on.
Thank you for taking us with you Dave!
Absolutely! Thank you for watching!

Thank you , stay safe 🙏🏼
Thanks!
It is/was a WWII M2 Cletrac high-speed tractor for mainly towing airplanes at military airfields.
At 11:23, agreed, it is an M2 Cletrac HST. Only about 8000 were made during WWII and there are few surviving examples. That is an awesome find!
Great video 😊
Awesome adventure my dad and I use to explore area in BC called barker ville …. So fun and history that’s tactile thx

I agree, it's important to keep learning.
Looked very abandoned

Thanks, it's a great little vehicle!
Great video dude!
Glad you enjoyed it!
What was the “found unbelievable” part of the video?
Just north of the border in Canada, all the windows would be smashed, shot full of holes, vandalized and burned.
It's interesting how location affects the way people treat abandoned places.
Neat mind, camp explorer, thanks for the trip.
Thanks!
The piece of equiptment appears to be a huge portable drill minus the bit?

Thank you! I'm glad you like it.
Very old small bull dozer or tractor the 2 levers were how you steered it.
that is the same make and model of stamp mill as the Lost Horse Mine in Joshua Tree National Park California
Great video my brother 👌😎
Glad you enjoyed it!
I live in Idaho, trying to find this on a map. Want to visit it next year. thanks for the vid
The abandoned vehicle would be a surplus World War Two half track.
There's one on Boulder Mountain in Southern Utah just like it.
For the rest of the world that's 2400 meters, 2.4 kilometers
Hey you got my sidekick
great video, another RUclipsr (TVR Exploring) Recently discovered in a mine-exploring video a vehicle of the same type. Probably a military vehicle - airplane tug.
I saw that video today. TVR is a great mine explorer.
where is all the mouse leavings ? who cleaned up ?
I would be running a metal detector .Especially at the mine tailings.

Don't ever go out alone...bring your teddy bear.
Perhaps that's an investment I'll have to make.
Forget the teddy bear. Bring a 44 magnum pistol in case you encounter a real bear.
Furnace? Seriously
Click bait, but nice vid anyway.
At 6:42, just to the left of the shed, it appears that you were being observed by two people in the woods.
9:47= bad Taco Bell, Lmmfaorotmff
🤣
@@DaveExploresYT great video and historic location 😇
