I already own the Tamron for my full frame cameras and recently started to use it on my A6500 . I was blown away by how much I enjoyed that combo and now use the 70-300 almost exclusively on the APS-C camera. Such a lightweight, travel friendly pairing! I really enjoyed watching your comparisons between these two lenses. I wasn't even really aware of the Sony lens but will check it out.
Hello! What is the best or not expensive Vnd filter for tamron 18-300mm sony for video. I bought a k&f concept nano-d but when I zoom out to 200-300 mm the video is very noisy. Thank you for your response.
Thank you for your comment. 👍 I am using also and K&F concept filter. It’s a variable filter ND 2-400, but it’s working very well. Maybe your filter has some problems due to a wrong manufacturing. 🤔
Had same issue with tamron 150-500 and tamron 17-70, both with filters had issues with autofocus and blurry images, while same filters on sigma/sony didn't affect quality or autofocus at all.
@@A1ko_ Thanks for your reply. I haven't done any vlogging with this camera, yet. I will use the kit lens for that predominantly. However I want to include wildlife in my vlogs, plus also get back to some more serious photography The Sony lens seems to be ideal for what I need 🤠
@@adventurewithbernie honestly maybe you could look for a superzoom lens (something like the tamron 18-300mm) so you don't have to swap between lenses, it makes life a lot easier if you're travelling too

Isn't this sharpness difference related to the image stabilization of the Sony lens? if you use the tamron with a6600 or a6700 the IBIS would enhance tamron result, doesn't it?
No, it’s not because I have shoot the pictures on a tripod with a remote into focus point was always set manually. The 70-350 is sharper than the 70-350.
In my country price difference was almost 100%, so I chosen tamron 70-300, but was dissapointed with results on my a6100, so switched to 70-350 when it was on sale. Difference is huge, not in sharpness, but autofocus and stabilization is like a day and night experience between those two lenses.
