Seeing your huge smile the whole path of the bridge, I knew you had decided to keep going! Congratulations and I can't wait to see the vlogs to come!!!
I can't quit now!!!! Awesome. From one non-hiker to a HIKER, let's go! Thanks Carolyn for all the beautiful places you've been and made accessible to all of us. Godspeed!
Oh my gosh! I didn’t expect this.....I thought Bridge of the Gods was the end of the line. Well, keep on keepin’ on, Carolyn. I’m thoroughly enjoying sharing your journey.
There's something about arriving in our fifties that's beautiful...a certain wisdom, determination, and acceptance of self..an inner peace and ability to press forward. I admire you on this journey and your perseverance and watching a new growth you're coming into. I relate. Thanks for being a good example and for sharing with us...I'm loving Washington's beauty also...🥰
Yaaay! I’ve been following for a little while now. I have to say, I was smiling with you on that bridge! That was the happiest I’ve seen you! You were grinning ear to ear🙌🏽🙌🏽 I love to see people happy. 👍🏽😊 CONGRATULATIONS !🍾🎈🎉 You Rock!!
Yay! Continuing on! Now you're here in my neck of the woods☺ Blackberries & ferns always a dead giveaway you're in Washington. I'm rooting you on Carolyn🎊🎉. Happy trails & be safe.
You are so endearing. Your honesty and frankness is so heartwarming. You are a wonderful inspiration and I thank you for uploading your amazing journey through the PCT. 💖
Still want a new Carolyn shirt.Something like,"I hiked with Carolyn, and boy are my fingers tierd!" You go girl! Was scared car would hit you on bridge! 🤗Knew it!👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣
I lived growing up in Milwaukie, Oregon. We had wild blackberries and ferns too. Also, lived in Oak Harbor, Washington. Loved the beauty of both places. Gotta love the sound of the running water.
Carolyn, my wife and I live in Trout Lake, and weren’t sure if you made it here. We have watched your videos for some time as you RV’d and decided to hike. We have hiked many parts of the PCT over the years, including the North Cascades from Canada down to Stehekin. Watching your video is just like being on the trail again. Thank you. Mike and Jeanie Wellman
That grated bridge brought back memories as a kid on a fishing trip and I was afraid to walk across it but I mustered up enough courage and pressed on, my companions were none the wiser.
I find myself breathing hard right along with you while you’re doing those steep inclines! And the scenery just keeps getting more spectacular! So glad you kept going after crossing the bridge. ✌🏼👍🏼
Oh wow. How different the forest in Washington is. I love that you are taking us with you. Thank you for showing how beautiful and how hard it is. Oooops a daisy, falls and all! You’re a trooper and a battler!
When you said that you weren't stopping your journey in Oregon, I got the biggest smile on my face for you! Hope you enjoyed your trek through Washington! The PNW is such a magical and special area.
Happy that you decided to keep going! Happy for all the grand views that awaited you and to be able to see them through your eyes, cause i know you will appreciate them!
You look absolutely tired out but certainly have great determination and courage persevering onwards...you are a real inspiration to many Caroline...may God give you the strength to carry on, you are brilliant!!! Xxxx
Yes the extra water is heavey, u will enjoy the coffee in the morning though . An uphill walk sound exhausting. Yes u will be able to bounce a quart a half dollar off your backaide. Just think how buff u look compared to the way u looked before u started. Memories never fail at this point, all the animals u have seen, all the nature along the way... even the sounds of the creeks will stay with u as u watch the videos. It will all come back
So much hardship yet So much beauty! What an amazing experience. You are woman, hear you roar! The fresh berries were a delightful treat but so is adequate water. I'm on the edge of my seat!
I rarely comment, but had to say........wouldn't have blamed you at all if you quit. Did a big YES!!!! when you didn't! You are just an inspiration to so many of us.
Walking across that bridge knowing you at age 50+ solo made it all thru OR and into WA must have felt so great! What an accomplishment and you're still going!! Yay Carolyn!!😍
The berry bushes are like a little trail treat! I like the moss covered "everything" too, makes me think of reading stories about areas like that! So you're trekking on, glad to hear that! You seem to be in better spirits today too! Go for it girl! You're doing a fantastic job!
Ok. So I avoided social media and anything Carolyn until the time was right to watch this much anticipated vlog on the big tv... Not disappointed!!! So happy to hear your choice to keep going. Washington is beautiful and GREEN!!!! You also answered our wondering about carbs, fat, and protein balances for your fuel. You are looking especially awesome with your smile bringing everything together!! Thanks for continuing to share the PCT. Hugs&Love Always, Ms Rose
@@laurawrld2097 - Hence Portland, OR's nickname of "Rose City" - which should be appealing to you, Ms. Rose. Wild roses are very different from our cultivated varieties; we have a few in Colorado as well.
Seeing your bright beautiful smile as you walked acrossed that bridge made me smile. I do see your weight loss not that you needed to loose any but you're looking great!!!
Thanks 😊 very much for taking us with you on your hike, it's beautiful scenery. And those Berry's make me hungry. You sure are a trooper 😎 and looking great. And shurely you can bounce a quarter of behind. Love from Canada 🇨🇦 🇨🇦🇨🇦❤️

I haven’t commented on any before last nights video, I’m not much of a talker. But I just had to tell you how inspirational you are! I’ve been dreaming of being a full-time RVer for a couple of years and hope to one day make my dream a reality. You are such a great person, I hope to meet you in person one day!

Sandy, it's funny you say that. I thought the same thing in editing... I would normally swear. I think the Go Pro made it look a lot worse than it was- and at that point I was so tired and so used to falling, that it was just another day on the trail. LOL
I was yelling get off that bridge. You scared the heck out of me as usual. I'm proud of you even wanting to go a mile more with those feet. Well done.💝💝❣❣
