It can't generate 1000v+ and you are showing emf (electromotive force.) To show potential difference you need to connect a resistance
Sometimes high voltage may appear, but is worthless if no current (amps) is generated ..please show amperage aswell, on your next videos as i enjoy, but some are a bit misleading thanks.

I built something similar before and after my third attempt I was able to light an LED with my transformer so I thought it would be safe to touch the contacts .... wrong. lol. I got zapped pretty good, my mom was laughing too.

Make a amp also not only rely in voltage. Make a storage for your invention for ecample battery or capacitor, you will have now a standaed voltage then rectify and simulate it.

Y'all think you could design a induction heater with a graphite rod in the middle a titanium cylinder using two indicution coils from induction cook tops with the titainium cylinder with the graphite rod inside in between the two tesla coils? Wanted to get a G stove and make induction heating element's that could operate off two thermal electric generators removed from two other stoves to hang from the G stoves handels to generate electricity with a the induction module being under the G stove with the two coils on the inside of the stove heating the titainum cylinders with a graphite rod in each to glow white hot. Eanted to be able to burn a small amount of wood to start the thermal electric generators then have the induction coils kick on to form a loop to provide heat to the stove. You think this can be done? 😊

I've seen this idea in tvs but smaller ....don't this way loose so much magnetism without the surrounding metal or material ...or does the field become one ...and I would of liked to see more parallel coils on the secondary too and thicker primary with MOSFETs 😉😁

Good question. I like to watch these types of videos just to see what claims these people are making. I assume the music is because the ones that make these videos doesn't know how it works, they just put parts together according to some diagram they find. This particular circuit will work, just not very well. It just proves a concept. Much more is needed to make a functioning and usable inverter.

Why do we need the transistor? What happens if you power the primary coil directly?
He has set up a flyback transformer. Current from the battery flows through the heavy gauge coil at one end of the core and produces a magnetic field in the core. That field produces a voltage in the other coil at the far end of the core. That voltage is used to switch the transistor on and off. The circuit oscillates pulsing the magnetic field in the core. Remember that voltage is induced in a coil by a changing magnetic flux. This changing magnetic flux envelopes the MANY turn coil in the center inducing an AC high voltage that he is measuring with the DMM. If you applied a DC voltage to the primary coil, the field would saturate to a constant value in the core, and the magnetic flux would only pulse the coil once as field increased.

What would happen if I connect a DC voltage to a microvave transformer in this case? Would it just short out?

Yes, he powers it with a battery. The switching of the transistor creates the AC voltage through the inductors, and an AC voltage is what the output is.
