- Justin Hayward: The Harmony Tour 2023, Carnegie of Homestead Music Hall, Munhall, PA. Justin relays to his fans how the title of the following song came about, then performs “The Voice" from the 1981 Moody Blues Album "Long Distance Voyager". Accompanying Justin was his amazing touring band, consisting of Guitarist Mike Dawes, Flutist Karmen Gould (also Backing Vocals) and Julie Ragins (Keyboards / Backing Vocals), who was unfortunately obscured from my view by a tower of speakers during the entire show.
I heard this same story when I went to a Justin concert a couple of days back. Still great.

You have got to be kidding. His voice sounds old and ragged. The female handling the high parts. Listen to the record. I love the band so I have to tell the truth.
I.have to agree,his voice is naturally jaded,due to aging,not his fault, he handles his softer songs better but the likes of "the voice' "tuesday afternoon" 'wildest dreams" he struggles a bit now,but at his peak he was an amazin' unique singer, sometimes i feel its time for him to call it a day,but yes his voice is not as strong as it was, some people don't like to admit it,i'm a massive hayward fan,but he"s well past his best now,but his place in music is in tact, who can forget his performance on "forever autumn: from 78' at the time peerless!!
