Incorrect. There is a less chance of infection from parasites from raw beef verses raw chicken, however, parasites do live in raw beef and it isn't impossible to be infected from eating raw meat. Organs, like liver, are included as well.

    Related to food and dopamine!
I was diagnosed with adhd around 21 and have been fat all my life. I was obese, but not to a crazy point, but definitely fat and not chubby. Food was one of the way I was trying to regulate my dopamine level since adhd is your brain struggling to produce it. I would eat a meal and then a bunch of sweet snacks in between. Once I started taking medication for adhd, those cravings almost fully disappeared and I lost a bunch of weight because I also started meal prepping so I would eat smaller portions. I’m still in the process of loosing weight at my own pace, but it feels good!
Sometimes it’s not about your willingness to go on a diet, because food was one of the few things keeping my mood up and cutting it would have physically hurt my brain. Sometimes you just need to figure other things out to help it! So don’t beat yourself down if you struggle with loosing weight and try to look a bit out of your plate, it might help in unsuspected ways!

Basically, we know that unhealthy food is going to make us feel worse in the long run but, as humans, it’s hard to resist something that gives you immediate reinforcement. It’s like if a person says “would you rather have 20$ right now or 100 dollars in a month?” Most research suggests that a person would be more likely to choose the 20$. And oh boy could I get into a long conversation about Skinner now 😂😂

I live in an area that gets really hot and humid in the summer. I used to get really bad acne around my hair line and under my chin. Went to a dermatologist and they suggested I use a wash with benzoyl peroxide. All that did was dry the rest of my face out and cause acne all over. My grandmother said when they were younger, they used to make a paste out of zinc to wash their faces during the summer. But once dandruff shampoos like head and shoulders came out, they used that instead because it had zinc and was cheaper. I tried it and haven't had that bad acne during the summer going on 10 years now. During the summer I use it twice a week and never get it near my eyes. It doesn't do anything for regular acne or blackheads. But it works great for the painful acne I used to get in my hairline and neck 🤷‍♀️

The accents thing is so true! I remember as a teen, our car was broken into while we were on holiday. We are from Scotland and we flew from Newcastle, where we stored the car. I had to sit with my dad as he filled out the police report and act as a translator, as despite both speaking English, my dad couldn’t understand the policeman’s Geordie accent, and the policeman couldn’t understand my dad’s Scottish accent 😂 I have a boring neutral accent, but it does help with conversing with a range of dialects!

Discussion about weight loss always interests me these days. I started seriously losing weight this May, and I'm not the strictest person ever, but I've lost weight fast. It's all routines. I still have sugarfree energy drinks, and the occasional treat. I just make sure to walk everyday, do some exercises, eat smaller portions and on a schedule. Lost almost 80 pounds since May.

I love the discussion about diet and exercise and health in general. There was a time I was struggling because of health that it affected my mental health and I was really not in a good place…just pushing yourself out of bed is a struggle…but recently I’ve been working out everything and eating less (not following a certain diet but I do eat less carbs)…some days its hard keeping up with exercising but it takes a lot of willpower and building habit and discipline to really have a good eating habit and working out…when it comes to eating less I’m pretty good at it but having to workout everyday is super hard…i don’t really like it but you gotta do it enough of times to really see the changes…so yeah…it takes really that willpower but results can’t be denied because it does improve a lot of the aspects of your life…have a healthy idea or what is considered healthy (like thin doesn’t necessarily mean healthy)…don’t compare your progress with others too…practice healthy mental habits as well…health really is overall…a lot of aspects…and parts of a whole that is dependent on one another…

I was doing everything right, diet exercise, sleeping, hydration, and I did lose a lot of weight but it also felt like I had to work as twice as hard as anyone else to lose weight. I finally went to the doctor to take care of my anxiety and stress levels and I was told that because I was under so much stress constantly the cortisol was trying to hold on to the extra weight. Now that my stress has been mostly taken care of, I started losing without having to do as much.

When I moved to NYC I made a friend that once said "I don't have a NYC accent." I told him he says "warder" instead of water. Specific to where he grew up in the city. He refused to believe me 😂
I love accents though. My bf is from Mexico City and I have a strong Chicago/NYC accent. We often repeat the same English word back and forth saying it differently until we give up. 😂 I feel Ken on slipping back into your natural accent. I can talk without it happens sometimes.

I’m studying to be a certified personal trainer and nutritionist. The worst part of this is that there are so many people that do their own research and still come out, believing that drinking borax and bleach will detoxify their body ( that is literally the main function of your essential organs). Learning how to cite articles and find articles worthy of being cited is something we learn in middle school, but a skill that has been neglected by our generation

Last summer, i noticed my mouth tingling after eating some watermelon. From what i gathered, there's a protine in watermelon that triggers a pollen allergy if you're allergic to certain types of pollen.

In Thailand we actually have many dishes that consists of raw meat, but we normally eat those kinds of dishes with garnish and spicy sauce to cover the taste of raw meat. Can't eat that every day tho but it still exist.

What's the point of serving it raw if it's just going to be covered with sauce to hide the taste? Just wondering 🙂

Always love to see you two in a video!
Being born in the UK, I feel I must defend it and say that there are different dialects/accents everywhere hahaha The UK might have the largest of any English speaking country I think... but still!
With this person however, it's not just to do with the accent that she's hard to understand, she's speaking weirdly. It sounds like she has a blocked nose or something? Her accent isn't so bad in some of her videos. Very strange!
