Most couples with problems: "Daniel has been manipulating me and gaslighting me, even cheating on me" This couple: "FRED DID YOU JUST BUY ANOTHER TOASTER?"
I'll give them this: this couple is the most normal out of all the strange addiction shows we've seen so far, not to mention that at least their house is super clean and tidy, all of the appliances organized and arranged in a very aesthetically pleasing way. Other people from this show seem to always crowd their homes with their obsessions so there's barely any walking space, stuff is dirty/dusty, etc.

They have a social life, and as the other person mentioned it appears as though they clearly maintain their lives. These shows often time get dramatic to make people seem "weird" when honestly it could be relatively typical like in this case.
I once knew an older guy who loved a washing machine, for some backstory…there is an antique mall up about 5 minutes up the road, my family and I go to it often for fun. He rented a booth there for years. His shop sold vintage appliances and what not, well…long story short, he collects old washing machines and dryers, and said he fell in love with a washing machine. He was a cool guy up until then, he went into some pretty creepy detail and smiled the whole way through explaining it to me. I don’t exactly know what led us to that topic, but I think it started off with vintage Star Wars mini figurines, and ended up scarring my memory.
if he was a pretty cool guy until then, maybe he still was and just weirded you out because he didn't know social norms very well. Most people with objectophilia are autistic, and autistic people tend to overshare without meaning to be creepy. He probably overshared with you because he trusted you and got at ease. It's not like he was harming anyone.
@@eringordon7624 I’m not in Hamilton, but that’s hilarious, because there just so happens to be a Hamilton Alabama. I live in Alabama, not Hamilton…but I’ve been through Hamilton before. You might know em, but Hamilton is a common name for cities/counties so you’re probably not there.
@@aldranzam3456 We didn’t steer clear from him after that day or anything. It creeped me out, but I’ve heard creepier. Overall he’s a nice guy and we still went to that mall often and spoke with him when we went. I think he moved to another antique mall though, or opened a shop. I don’t believe he was autistic but he certainly wasn’t all “normal” up in the head. Not trying to be rude with that statement, what I really mean is…his mind was unique, smart guy, not very good with social situations…but he was a genuinely cool dude, he would hold onto any old electronics or video games he got, and would sell them to me personally at a good price or sometimes for free if they didn’t work. I always offered money numerous times any visit he gave me something for free, he always declined saying something like, “I don’t find interest in the item, but you do, and I don’t have any plans on making money off of something I don’t care for” very cool and genuine guy, the washing machine part really creeped me out in the moment and I definitely looked at him in my head a bit differently, but in the end…it’s what made him happy, and it wasn’t effecting me, so I didn’t care about his love for old appliances. I think he’s independently living, not that it matters…but it might contribute to his whole social situation, he might not have many people to talk to. He could have moved to the indoor flea market to sell things, he said that he wanted to a long time ago, but they didn’t have any “long-term vendor locations” open.
although a bit eccentric, these 2 guys are a cute couple, i mean these are 2 people who both have an odd, uncommon interest, they found each other , they seem truly happy and they actually use / enjoy their weird interests in productive and manageable ways, and the 50s house does look pretty sweet i must say :-)

Fun fact, speaking of toys that weren't originally supposed to be toys. Silly String was originally intended to be a sort of "Instant Cast" for use during wartime. They couldn't quite get it right but found that it was kind of fun to play with and ended up moving out of the war business altogether and made Silly String lol
A lot of these strange addiction videos are very problematic and creepy, and some just become unhealthy or unhygienic. I don't see a problem with this couple since they're both sharing the same interest healthily and they're keeping clean. I'd even go as far as to say they're both pretty wholesome. Also they got good taste wow.
11:45 Silly buddy was original designed during WWII, many scientists were racing to produce a synthetic rubber substitute to supply the allies with the tires needed to maintain the war machine. As a British daughter of carpet cleaners I can confirm that Henry Hoover’s are the best Hoover’s and can literally be chucked down the stairs everyday and work better than the day you got it. When I moved out I asked for a Henry Hoover so I didn’t have to buy another Hoover in my life 😂
Every house needs one. All the stuff that you wouldn't dare clean with your normal vacuum you get Henry to do. Screws, nuts, bolts, glass, small stones, plaster board, plaster dust etc. basically any mess left after the builders have been in.
i want to be best friends with this couple. they’re definitely the healthiest and happiest of any “addicts” we’ve seen, and their hobby is actually genuinely interesting imo.
17:45 not gonna lie, their washing machine/appliance “obsession” is similar to collecting and restoring old cars! They’re probably sitting on a pretty penny’s worth of vintage items that are worth far more than they paid because they’re fully operational!
As a maintenance guy all I can think about is how much electrical outlets that needed to be installed along with the water hookups to have all those washers to run at the same time. Its actually impressive.
Three things what made this wholesome not crazy obsession. 1.) They have the money for it 2.) Its a collection of Valuable items. 3.) They aint hurting nobody and they freaking love what they do! We don’t have enough passion in humanity I’m glad they found theirs
Reminds me of my grandparents’ house. They had pretty much all their appliances from the 60s still working when I was growing up. Rotary phone, vacuum, oven… Stuff from those days just have such a beautiful aesthetic I wish they would make a comeback.
I've had electric kettles for years and currently living in the US. I think part of it is that tea drinking isn't as popular here in the US as say Japan or Austrailia. But I think another thing to consider is that if the power goes out (i.e. a blizzard in Buffalo), you don't want to be stuck without your kettle. I've seen more conventional kettles than anything.
Honestly not weird at all, vintage appliances are awesome and these guys seem to keep their stuff in great condition. More power to em' especially having to fight my shitty newer appliances.
We definitely have an electric kettle that plugs in the wall at my job. My mother only made tea as her mother did. She was Taiwanese. Now, I work for a UK company and we just got the Queens award for packaging machinery innovation. I’m so proud. It literally means nothing to our fellow American citizens but we now have the Queens emblem for the next 8 years ,or 5, on everything. Also, I don’t really drink coffee either. Shockingly I never owned an electric kettle. Only kettles on the stove - Silver and a whistler. I’ve been deprived! 😭
You can tell Felix is so far removed from Sweden. Nearly every time he says something about Sweden the last two years it’s rarely accurate. Electric Water Kettles are super common.

More recently they are known as percolators due to that song. Basically you run the percolator with no coffee grinds and it works just like an electric kettle.
Yay!!! Ken and Felix! I was just wondering if the time difference was better for you two yesterday, and here you are! Also thanks for reminding me, I need a new vacuum. Mine is so old 😂
If I had that many washers (and the same number of dryers) I would run ALL of them at the same time. Right now it takes most of the day once a week to get all the laundry done for my family.

I love this! Vintage appliances just looked so damn cool and they were made to last! My grandma had one of those upright vacuums and that thing lasted forever! Still worked amazing even after she passed away. I personally would much rather have a vintage machine than a modern one anyway. I've had so many modern appliances break and it's often because of the computer parts in them and it's the most annoying thing ever. I'd love to have any of these machines. Obviously i dont know if they are on the spectrum or just have a passion for collecting but either way. It clearly doesn't seem detrimental to them.
Dear God
if he was a pretty cool guy until then, maybe he still was and just weirded you out because he didn't know social norms very well. Most people with objectophilia are autistic, and autistic people tend to overshare without meaning to be creepy. He probably overshared with you because he trusted you and got at ease. It's not like he was harming anyone.
Omg are you from Hamilton? I think I know that same guy😂
This makes them genuinely happy, literally couldn’t be happier for them. Just good vibes
Aw this couples wholesome. They take care of their collection and just enjoy being happy and weird together.
although a bit eccentric, these 2 guys are a cute couple, i mean these are 2 people who both have an odd, uncommon interest, they found each other , they seem truly happy and they actually use / enjoy their weird interests in productive and manageable ways, and the 50s house does look pretty sweet i must say :-)
That's actually pretty wholesome, finding pure enjoyment in simple things
“Apparently no American has them..” Felix, i do though😂 and so does a lot of college students 😌
Nope we don't have any in America
@@michaelp2952 😂😂 none, none at all
I have one and several friends have them as well, we also find them in most of the vacation rentals we’ve stayed at. Is it a regional American thing? I want to upgrade mine to one that you can set a specific temp for the water for special teas. 🤩
@@michaelp2952hello from Texas! I have one too, it makes making tea and cup noodles super convenient (also a college student)
@@ayrethd.3916 honestly, I feel that anyone who is into hot teas would come across an electric kettle at some point! They’re so convenient, and a specific temperature? Dang that is cool!
Is it blowing anyone else's mind that he can actually open his washing machine while it's running? Every washing machine I've had has a safety feature on it where it doesn't actually allow you to open the machine once the wash cycle starts.
Omg yes it drives me nuts too because sometimes I need to put softener in and I can't cause it won't unlock 🙄😂
I hate modern American washing machines because of that. The one I have just stops when you open it.
Safety wasn't a thing back then-
@@aldranzam3456 xD I forgot that these were all antiques or at least mostly. LOL I was just glad that my six year old does NOT have the ability to just open a running washer whenever the fancy strikes her xD bubbles galore = flooding galore.
you can open japanese washing machines while theyre running but still only for first 2 minutes or so
This is definitely one of the better of these videos. Just two dudes who have a mutual love for vintage appliances. A bit odd, maybe, but other than that this was pretty wholesome.
I live in the US and I have an electric kettle! The GREATEST thing I own! It gives my dorm room a pop of color and I can make a cup of tea whenever I want to. I'm with Ken and Pewds. I couldn't have gone through college without it.
I read another comment that also mentioned college students having them. Why is it a thing for dorms but not for regular houses? I'm not from the US and I'm just curious lol
@@MacaGD there isn’t a kitchen in a dorm room, so an electric kettle is much better :)
I personally have one in my house so I’m not sure why most don’t lol
It’s self heating without a stove
Well for one thing it's easy to have in a college dorm. My family has one and many people I know do. I think mostly tea drinkers have them in my experience
Pewds: "Americans don't have electric kettles!"
Me: *is an American with an electric kettle* 😯
Exactly !! I was like 🤔 🫖
Literally one of the best things I own🙏🏻
Same. A lot of people use keurigs for tea as well
Same
@@BEAST.420G it…it’s not that serious dude…it’s a kettle…
This was the most normal strange obsession. Finally. We made it.
wait why is their house actually SO aesthetically pleasing... I want to live there omg. they're not like crazy hoarders they're just cute and have a tidy little pastel home I love this
The pastel and chome is really cute
I'm American and I'd die without my electric kettle. Tea, coffee, hot cocoa... Ramen.
Also, this is ... actually pretty wholesome.
The fact that America made the electric kettle and people still believe we dont
@theripper4406 from what I can see on google, it was an invention from the UK? Genuinely curious if I missed something somewhere
yeah i was confused when they said americans didnt have that lmao, i have two
Sames
Went to check for this comment. I’m American and have owned an electric kettle for years.
Henry is the best vacuum ever 😂❤️
Im happy the both have each other and they can shear their collection/hobbies with each other and both get excited. Its weird but hey, the have their own slice of paradise.
this explains why felix sometimes appears to be confused for the intro it’s because ken just starts recording without telling him lol
Felix and Ken should 100% start a podcast and just talk, they always have something very interesting to say. Very entertaining, would watch.
I just got a brand new washer and dryer today... My first ever that is all mine 💕 I'm 31 year old mom with 2 kids so this is a huge deal for me. I didn't know where else to share this happy news at at but this seems kind of appropriate here. It's not vintage though so I think my washer and dryer should be safe lol
That's so awesome! I grew up with not a lot so having something brand new is such an incredible feeling! Congratulations!
That's great! 💕 This is so wholesome. Congratulations on your brand new washer and dryer!
congrats!! im still pretty young but my mom got her own set around 5 yrs ago, but I remember how daunting it would be to have to wake up and have to carry everything to the car and to the laundromat
Congratulations!! May they work as long as these gentlemen’s antique appliances.
This is so wholesome, congrats!
I waited all year for this video.
"If today is your birthday then happy birthday!"
So happy it was a Pewdiepie collab too!
Can't wait to see more content Ken, Buff, and Pewds
happy belated birthday!!
13:05 was really hoping for a "Why must the children suffer..." but the small pp joke from Ken was also acceptable 😂
11:45
Silly buddy was original designed during WWII, many scientists were racing to produce a synthetic rubber substitute to supply the allies with the tires needed to maintain the war machine. Rubber comes from trees which there is a finite supply due to the innovation of Minecraft bonemeal not being a reality in the 1940's to instantly grow the trees.
I love how Ken wouldn’t look up the Listerine thing but as soon as Felix brought up micro plastics making pp’s small, he opened up Google 😂
As long as they aren't physically attracted to the appliances, That one dude that was attracted to a fence Traumatized me.
Edit: I got confused but I can confirm it was a woman ty replies
I’ve been traumatized by a man who was/is physically attracted to a vintage washing machine. I need to call Dr Phil and tell him to give the guy the knife hands…or send em to the ranch!
And that weirdo that wanted to bang his car. 🚗 🚘
I just don't understand how people can get romantic feelings toward inanimate objects. 🤔🧐🤨🤷🏻♀️
You know how they say - better fences than children.
That was a woman
Lol that was a woman!
This was surprisingly wholesome. They're just a really sweet couple who love vintage appliances ❤
Absolutely thrilled to see a collab with felix again!!!! hope for more, if you feel like it.( Of course. )
To be fair this guys have everything organized so well! And the fact that its Vintage appliances, make a huge difference!
It doesn't matter how much they spent on them, everything in their house is now worth 10-100 times what they paid if not more
Me, an American with my electric kettle: "ah, i must be cultured"
Or a tea drinker.
Same!!!!!
@@Isthislife2135 I use mine for soup. I hate tea
They're just a very sweet couple who like to collect vintage washing machines. Not what I'm used to seeing in these videos
Omg this couple is actually so cute I love them
Roombas are worthless. If you have any chairs in your house, it gets stuck. I bought one that had a “gps” function and it still got lost under the table within 5 minutes. Compare the cost to a dyson cordless and it is amazing roomba is still in business.
does it even get under edges of couches and stuff? sure neither would a vacuum but those have hoses with hand attatchments
@@canijust101 If you are referring to Dysons cordless vacuum. It is the best thing you can buy for vacuuming. If you run it on high though the battery runs out quick.
I like how nice they keep their collection. It looks like they actually care about it and appreciate it, rather than just hoarding garbage in their garage and calling it a collection.
People at work are wondering why I cackle so much during my lunch break. Nothing like good banter between Ken and Felix to brighten the day:)
It’s a weird obsession but a weirdly sweet couple? Like the least toxic couple I’ve seen on tlc for a while 😂
As a British daughter of carpet cleaners I can confirm that Henry Hoover’s are the best Hoover’s and can literally be chucked down the stairs everyday and work better than the day you got it.
@@SpareSomeChange8080 We've got two haha, a Henry and his older brother Charles. Awesome vacuum's.
After my parents trying different brands of hoovers- Henry is indeed the OG
i want to be best friends with this couple. they’re definitely the healthiest and happiest of any “addicts” we’ve seen, and their hobby is actually genuinely interesting imo.
I can just imagine myself with one of those vacuums. "I want to break free! I WANT TO BREEEAK FREE!"
Ok, at least they're just collecting vintage appliances rather than marrying them 😂😂
Right seems a lot more wholesome more legit
17:45 not gonna lie, their washing machine/appliance “obsession” is similar to collecting and restoring old cars! They’re probably sitting on a pretty penny’s worth of vintage items that are worth far more than they paid because they’re fully operational!
As a maintenance guy all I can think about is how much electrical outlets that needed to be installed along with the water hookups to have all those washers to run at the same time. Its actually impressive.
POLLUTION IS KILLING THE WEINERS!
Ken: It all makes sense now! 😭😂
Felix: ... What do you mean? 😅
SO WHOLESOME 🥺👉👈💖😆
I love watching Ken and Poods messing around, you can really tell they're good friends.
I'm in love with their retro home. Everything's so well taken care of!
They are so wholesome I’m happy for them finding so much happiness in these objects
Three things what made this wholesome not crazy obsession.
1.) They have the money for it
2.) Its a collection of Valuable items.
3.) They aint hurting nobody and they freaking love what they do! We don’t have enough passion in humanity I’m glad they found theirs
The wholesomeness, I can't handle it!! This was a blessing of a video, thank you Ken and Pewds
"Pollution is killing the weiners!!" I wheezed and nearly choked on my tea
This was so wholesome! What an adorable couple with a nice hobby and love for vintage :)
I am legit jealous of the vintage 50's aesthetic, everything has this candy colour or metallic shine.
This is probably the most wholesome obsession I’ve seen and I enjoyed it
Reminds me of my grandparents’ house. They had pretty much all their appliances from the 60s still working when I was growing up. Rotary phone, vacuum, oven…
Stuff from those days just have such a beautiful aesthetic I wish they would make a comeback.
“What happens if you drop some protein bar on your shirt?”
“It would explode with muscle?”
You can tell Felix is so far removed from Sweden. Nearly every time he says something about Sweden the last two years it’s rarely accurate. Electric Water Kettles are super common.
That was my thought😅 like yes Norway and Sweden are two different countries, but I can't imagine we're so different that Swedes don't commonly own electric kettles🤔
@@peachysandie his family might not have an electric kettle and so he grew up thinking that people in Sweden don't normally have them.
For example, I can't really describe the typical experience of people from my country when asked because it turns out, me and my family are a bit weird. What was typical for me growing up wasn't for a lot of my fellow countrymen.
10:59 Apparently in the 60s they'd advertise cigarettes to children who worked in coal mines as a way to avoid getting Black Lung.
I know two people who were victims to the roomba running over the poop. They need to be supervised.
As an American, we do have electric kettles. I have one and use it all the time. Highly recommend.
Agree! Great not just for tea but also insta noodles
Stop spreading lies I've never seen one
@@wordnado9788 I use it for the exact same reasons lol
It also make using my coffee press easier
More recently they are known as percolators due to that song. Basically you run the percolator with no coffee grinds and it works just like an electric kettle.
3:16 WE ALL HAVE THIS OMG ITS SUPER COMMON
I mean these items look pretty collectable. I doubt they would ever sell them… but at least they could lol
“They don’t have electric kettles in America”
Me, looking over at my electric kettle “what are you?”
This is the healthiest, most wholesome addiction ever. These lads look like they're living the dream!
Agree I have a family of 7 and it is not fun washing everything if I had that I'd be done in 5 minutes
I love Ken and Pewds reacting together it is great content.
We need to start a "Save the Weiners" foundation in Ken's name.
Mike Row has some answering to do about his plastics
Cinnamon and Pewds are Legendary meme reviewers! Buff Pro too.
This person who owns lots of washing machine should have a museum of washing machines so people would understand how it works.
3:07 America does have electric kettles, I have one and use it for hot water to make tea
5:46 bro this is such an underrated pun
You've been away too long Felix! Everyone has an electric kettle in Sweden, a "vattenkokare", which translates to "water boiler". No fuss Swedish, call it what it is :)
15:43 dude, I would GLADLY provide them with my clothes to be washed weekly! 😂😂😂
Esp that dishwasher it's so cool!
