One thing i love about this level is that you can hear in Sasha's voice when he's putting on an act (10:20) and when things have truly gotten out of control (26:02).
I love how most of this was intentional except for the Mega Censor. Like, Sasha wanted him to overload the switch, but was not ready for the mega censor to pop out at them. Genius!
One detail of this level I really admire is that since all the sensor eruptions are actually planned and part of the course, they all burst from the cube in a tidy and controlled manner, even down to how smooth and perfectly circular the holes they come from are. But when the giant Sensor spawns in 26:08, the one part that was not in Sasha's control, it actually destroys its way out, leaving a rubbled hole behind
No. COMPLETELY suppressing his feelings is what manifested the boss. Irl, it's very unhealthy to completely suppress your feelings. Btw, Raz was responsible for the suppression
@@jacobwells9207 Raz was only following orders. Of course he increased the rate of censors in the first place, but after that, he was following Sasha's word.
@@XYZ-eo8um Could be that Ford just didn't connect Raz to the Aquatos until later? What is surprising is that the backstory didn't immediately tip him off. Edit: One of the memory vaults in Psychonauts 2 reveals that Ford also used the Astralathe to mess up his own mind. The crazy thing is, the gypsy waggon we see in "Ford's Mind" is absolutely Ford's own subconscious memory, not Rasputin bleeding in at all. That much tells us that a connection between the two was planned from the start. My mind has been blown and I am still trying to process this.

I love how he pops in and out of the orange hatch in his head, it’s neat!

Dialogue later in the game reveals that Sasha expected Raz to increase the difficulty as part of the lesson.
So from this I gather that Sasha has a problem with suppressing all of his feelings, which is made manifest in the boss?

😱😠Oh Dear What Language!!!!😱😠
I fell in love this game
Its strange seeing Ford talk about Raz's dad despite knowing his role in the mess.
Back then this part of the story wasn't even considered by devs...
Not that we were supposed to know that.
That's the thing. He didn't know about it because that part of his memories were lost when he shattered his own mind.

5:21 Tacky Lamp Jumpscare
It’s so horrible I can’t even look at it
Well, as shown in his Memory Vault, Sasha's mom died next to one of those lamps.
Sasha: Well My Ass Is Covered.
Me: BOI
"Well, my ass is covered." 😆
26:13 you are my own creation I demand you to stop
It’s Not Working!
i think it was an old diving helmet or something
14:03 THIS IS SPARTA
What does sasha do in the orange room in his mind? :)

It was arranged to make him an expert fighter. And it worked.
