Ever since I was young I was very drawn to Aztec and Mayan culture...feels like home/paradise in a way.
You enjoy the child sacrifice? Disgusting.
Go figure...deleted your comment lmao
My favorite host- Josh Gates. He adds more thrills, more surprise, more suspense about any legends. I just love his show"Expedition Unknown ".
When I visited chichen itza my skin tingled and I felt at home. It was a 3 hour drive from Cancun but it was sooo worth it. I wanna go back soon❤
"it is not chicken pizza, not chichen itza, its chichÈn itzÁ". (a local guide, mayan descended, taught us how to correctly pronounce the name of the city with this little rhyme. he was so much fun, very passionate about his heritage and the temples.)
Gabriel?
I won’t be there for the equinox but I am going at the end of October this year and my excitement is unreal..
Enjoyed your video! We were in Chichen Itza two days ago. It is a fascinating place to visit. The Mayan dancers at lunch were incredible.
Both Chichen Itza and Tulum are amazing and beautiful places. I visited it when you could still climb to the top (it’s off limits now because it’s really dangerous). The ruins in Tulum are right on the beach. I can’t wait to go back, such magical places.
Tulum is a beautiful and peaceful place. Although I was in awe of Chichen Itza, it has a dark, disturbing tenor about it. It was almost unsettling.
@@dangre00 Yeah you’re right now that I think about it. I remember riding in a Jeep through the jungle to the site. It’s was a dark, long and twisty ride that gives one lots of time to think about human sacrifice. 😳😱
Tulum ruins are just straight up magical, just not as notorious as CI.
Why is it so dangerous at the top of that one? Surely just as dangerous on the Nohoch Mul!
@@silvermainecoons3269 So spot on. It's almost indescribable the ominous feelings at Chichen Itza.
@@tori-loo Pure tourist numbers. Odds become ever increasing someone will fall down and break their crown.
I climbed up there when i was in 8th grade. I didnt know its off limits now. Also climbed the pyramid at uxmal
wow, wonderfull content. Thank's
Thanks for sharing
Impressive video, great info. Could do without the 4-wheelers
Amazing
why am i here when you misunderstood that kukulkan is god of the sun and you know what he was a creator god, and the god of rain, wind, storms, and life and one thing kinich ahau is the real sun god according to maya!!
Mr Gates! That's a win
I've been there to both Cancun and Chichen Itza. Beautiful places. Plus, I greatly admire the Maya people, minus their pagan worldview of course.
😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
I feel like the same person who wrote and edited this also did the Tula Tequilla show
Mayan people are mentioned in Mahabharat epic .
That's a beauty Josh indeed they were some of the most intelligent peoples on earth but you missed to mention one of the countrys that is now part of the ancient Mayan empire that's Belize is located East of Guatemala and South of Mexico that's where one of the crystal skulls was said to have been found and the famous jade head at the Altun Ha ruins you should visit there sometime
8:00 Do these people really know that this was a site for horrific human sacrifice?
Can u give a subtitle on this video
Sun worship and human sacrifice still go on today lmao
Yup
Sad but true.
Yeah it’s called abortion
Yep. Done by the U.S
Josh we wait you in bosnia pyramids and best tunnel ravne
How clean is the water of the sinkhole?
Was thinking the same thing there’s hella bodies down there that water is filled with blood for sure and when she said it fells magical ur feeling death
The water pool is unclean with skeletons on the bottom and shouldn't be swam in at all.
I wounder if that statue depicting a person in an almost laying type position cradling a round object is really a symbolic depiction of a woman showing how her unborn child has been removed from her body and was removed & taken by aliens. It's interesting that this carved statue is at a that site & very close to a Pyramid that's said to have been developed by aliens and the whole connection with Myan Culture and together from what we know know about these ET beings and there possible influence on our Species for a very long time.
Belize, or British Honduras, how come you failed to mention Belize, mistah man?
❣️
Hello Mr Jeannot
💖💖
mis-leading! you cannot jump into the cenote's on the grounds, there are others for tourist purposes
Just came from the tour. Some tourists managed to pee from the top of the pyramid and write their names on the walls. So they had to wrap up the climbing. Very impressive but not very spiritual for me, cause looks like many humans have been sacrificed here.
That's the spiritual part 😂😂
Any difference from auschwitz ??
Any different from Spanish Inquisition, Vikings, Romans, Greeks, ect.
Please don’t make dumb comments like this or we won’t be able to go anywhere on earth.
@@carlosabrego7987Not just Auschwitz but every anywhere else.
This person don’t know about the Vikings, Romans, Greeks, Spanish Inquisition, Africa ect. This person is very ignorant!
Nicaragua we don’t have any statues of the Mayans .
actually the snake looks like its going up instead of down. Lets take a more honest look.
Water for life. Life for water… 🤯
VÍVAAA MÉXICOOO!!! 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
It iss sooo special .. let’s build a hotel on top of the senote 😂😂😂😂
Hands up for human sacrifice
I pray a Jaguar jumps on one of those 4wheeler riders .. 😂😂😂
The city was built by the Toltecs, not the Mayans.
I am the 1 st person to react. Can l get any previlese ?
You can become a snacrifice.. To the snake God
iv been inside that thing... red monkey...
Did u sense death
dont trust anyone wearing eyeshadow
There are still some people believing in cult, worshipping false deity, offering human sacrifices, & these are against the teaching of God.
The effort to make it appealing to the audience turns the text into a bizarre show of ignorance and disrespect towards the culture it supposedly is describing
Kukulkan is the same god Quetzalcoatl as Enki… offspring off the Nephilim. 200 Nephillim gave offsprings Gods… sacrifices where not made until the second generation of the Atoltecayotl culture. There is no proof about the sacrifices ..
Don’t believe me .. research. I didn’t go to high school nor middle school 😢
3rd
Idk... Feels like an ad for their tourism department
Yeah, places had human sacrifice, I'm glad it went under.
Any difference from auschwitz ???
🙃🙃 said a lot of disrespectful things about the maya ppl smh
Those people lifting their hands to a false deity. Only Jesus saves
No need to pray the gates of pearl have turned to gold, it seems you've lost your {money} and your way.
No words of praise, no promised land to take you to there is no other way Jesus saves
💀 Slayer 💀
@@nowheelspin only Jesus saves, not this “serpent god”, so are you agreeing with me?
@@paulycoleman98 on on on south of heaven 💀
@@nowheelspin I’m not following what you’re trying to convey?
They are deceived devil worshippers
Very bad 😞 human sacrifice
USA and other countries do that but with bombs and guns... 🤡
Any difference from auschwitz?
