Oh I love these blocks! Instead of pouches, I think I will make QAYG blocks for a quilt. I have a lot of TP scraps that I've been saving without knowing what I will do with them, but now I know. It is tough to make decisions about what TP scraps to keep and what to toss, but maybe I don't have to make those decisions with this technique. Subscribed!
Glad you got inspired! I love seeing my tula pink everywhere now that I have gifted these pouches for my families and friends. Definitely worth making with TP scraps!
Did you switch to a zipper foot to sew on the zipper or were you able to keep the regular foot on? I have a Singer so I wasn’t sure if I’d need to change them out when making this pouch. Love this idea and am looking forward to giving it a shot 😊
Thank you so much ,now I'm making heaps of zipper pouches!

Great tutorial. Love the Tula pink scraps for your pouch. Do you use a lot of Tula fabric or do you buy scrap fabric?
These are from a quilt I made made from the Tula Pink stash I have been hoarding😂
@@littlemushroomcap Thank you Amira for your quick response. The pouches are so pretty.

I used a walking foot, and didn’t change to zipper foot and I did not sew so close to the zipper teeth..
@@littlemushroomcap thank you for letting me know! ❤️ going to try it out tonight 😁
What size are the zippers? Are they invisible? What type?
