The UK government by obliging families to obtain loans to pay for higher energy costs only puts them in deeper financial trouble, by increasing indebtedness. This fails to deal with the source of the problem, it ignores the alternatives (reducing VAT and increasing renewable energy generation capacity) and can only store up trouble which will have to be paid for.

Its amazing how short the memories are of so many... this clown along with 2 sidekicks lied through his arse about Brexit, and now we are faced with huge rises in energy bills and fuel prices. Mainly because they are all owned by European Countries and we have no mandate to stop the price hikes. The cost of shipping has gone up through the roof, supermarkets are running out of many brands due to cost and lack of truck drivers, they have cut the NHS money so they force through the private sector contracts. All because of greed to claw back money lost during Covid, yet he talks of such a strong economy. Based on what.... the Tories have borrowed 10s of Billions to protect the rich... he talks of the living wage...... (The average wage in the UK for 2021 was 25,971) Yet a full timer on the living wage would be on almost 4k a year under that amount. He flew in a private Jet to have dinner with some friends straight after leaving the G7 climate summit and then had party after party while laughing at the people forced to stay at home with next to no income, many relying on food banks..... and then thinks its funny to make jokes in the House... shamefull behaviour from a man that looked like he barely had an intelligent answer to any of the calmly put out statements from Kier...... and let me think for a minute.... more Police on the Streets??? Is this not forgetting the thousands they cut during the last term of Office..... and I suppose he will claim to of got more nurses working... forgetting they cut 30 thousand nurses the last term of office...... lie after lie after lie....... we have just heard BP are making 48 million pounds a day profit.... yet 9.1 billion is being set aside to be given to energy companies to keep the bills down while making people pay more in the longer run...... on top of NI increases, rises in food costs and travel......... absolute joke......

As victims of fraud [which effectively destroyed mine and my wife's lives] I am utterly disgusted by Blo-job's empty promises that he and his government are doing their 'utmost to crackdown on fraudsters'. I wrote [and my sister wrote on mine and my wife's behalf] innumerable times to Dominic Raab [who didn't even have the common decency to reply] as well as Geoffrey Cox Q.C - who stated that he was unable to help us and took no further action.
Without going into detail, we were the victims of the most outrageous acts of fraud, deception, extortion and intimidation by a pair of ruthless British criminals - yet nobody from the UK government helped us, despite our fighting for over 3 years for justice. As a result we lost everything we had ever worked for.
Fraud in my opinion, is one of the most pernicious, destructive and utterly demoralising crimes a person can suffer and the consequences can be far-reaching and life-changing. So you naturally rely on the courts, police and politicians etc to take strong and punitive action against the perpetrators of fraud.
I make no apologies therefore, for saying that Boris Johnson is a shameless liar - and a highly accomplished fraudster himself to continually and insultingly con people such as myself and the British public as a whole.

This situation shows that we live in a country with a facade of democracy and justice. Its anarchy when the law applies to them but the contrary for the rest of us. Its all extremely dispiriting. We only need 15% of Tory MPs to call a vote of no confidence but, as almost all of them have no moral fibre and only think if their owns necks, not what's good for Britain, we still have this flabby, overprivileged detritus in charge as he continues his arrogant detachment from the realities we experience.

Only after he died did all this start to surface, you need to study the facts before repeating Bojo's lies. Perhaps you are just a right wing troll who gets his facts from social media. Study the case ( although it might take you a couple of weeks) Saville was a gross piece of shit who got away with shocking acts of perversion years before Starmer or Hunt got involved.
