Thanks for watching Trevor! My new shop should be done in a few months and I have the design all planned out for it. Looking forward to document that one as well 🤙🏼
Hello again Awesome videos Thanks so much. Man I'd wouldn't ride that beautiful bike in the freaking snow after all that work, no way. Couple of questions: How high should I set the upper tubes through the triple trees. Is there a set Harley spec or a set number that you use for this. I know it's less tens 1/2 an inch but can't find it anywhere (tube height over top of upper triple tree) Also I am going to have the tubes and lower legs Powder coated should I clean the insides out with like brake clean so no oil remains when its heated for coating. Thanks so much for the great videos, you make
Hey Kenny! This was one of my older builds! The newest build turned out even better! So I typically set the fork tubes approx 1/8” above the collar of the top triple tree. I wouldn’t go more then that and make sure your fork nuts are not below it. Just above even to 1/8” is what I would recommend. I don’t think there is a standard height and it isn’t to crucial if you stay within the 1/8”. As far as the fork tubes yes I would clean them with brake cleaner and dry them out good. Whoever powder coats them may do it but the cleaner you give them the part the cheaper it would be for you!
The mountains in the background look almost as beautiful as the bike
Dude! All the little orange accent pieces on this bike! I love it! 😍

Thanks man! I really appreciate that. I’m really happy with how it turned out 👍🏼
Outstanding bikes you build mate. Dynas are great bikes. Would you do a Wide Glide build some time in the future?
Thanks for the nice comment Lee! Yeah! I think a wide glide with old school paint and some nice powder coated accents would be cool! Hmm. 🤔 lol

Well I've subscribed to your channel, and that would be great to see as I myself have a 2013 WG 😎
Awesome works !
Is this Biltwell Chumps ?
Thank's 😉
Thanks! Yup they are bitwell chumps!
Nice job...who did the primary paint/coat?
Thanks Robert! My friend has a powder coat shop down the road. We just powder coated it there.
Good and love the series as I own a 2006 Dyna Street Bob. By the way, any videos regarding the modification of rear tire to 240mm or even bigger?
Hey thanks for watching! I actually haven’t done a rear tire that big before! I bet it would look awesome!
@@martinjamesdesigns3748 ic. I am looking forward for your other videos

Also make sure to replace your fork seals with a fork rebuild kit! Always change your seals when you take your tubes apart.
@@martinjamesdesigns3748 Thank you very much. I needed that. Keep on with the great vids.
@@martinjamesdesigns3748 I bought the James complete kit front end on your advice. You Rock
What maker and model is that rear tire?
It’s an Avon 180 x R17
I swore it was a scorcher. I have the Avon cobra chrome 180/70R16. What model is that?
@@soapy3500 I think your right. I’ve built 3 dynas in the last few years and I sold this particular one a year ago. It was a scorcher 180
It was hard to see. I’ve built a performance 128 Fatbob and I want a tire for better cornering. The Avon’s have a high side wall.
Ready to sell it ? Hit me up ;)
Only thing inumd lime is black heat wrap on the pipes
Everything is for sale!
