Being a valeter myself i love the prep videos. I do loads of trade work for car dealers and theres something really rewarding about making someones new to them car look like new again and seeing the smile on their face when they come to pick it up
Agreed. I’m a motor trader 18 years who’s only valeted myself for last 12 months. What a good fulfilling job renewing a car is !!!!! Only elbow grease time product and a little finesse. Wonderful.
Must admit after being not blown away using a company to valet my Range Rover I do it myself now, can appreciate though how long it takes though and how much the equipment costs, any recommendations of a good cordless Machine polisher which does not break the bank as eBay cheepo aint good I have !
@Peter Lang hi Peter, I personally only use the Flex machines. I have rotary, free spinning and forced machines. As with everything you get what you pay for and a Flex will last you many years and be enjoyable to use. Bite the bullet and treat yourself.
Oh dear! Haven't watched one of your videos for a few months now - been an avid viewer - and it's great to see how the parking lot has grown so much. You're doing great and I'm wishing you the best! Love the Camry.
That bar is transfer the pedal on rhd cars to the other side on lhd bud, on 106 s and others like that they had some adjustment on it, you could have bobbed a weld on it if it was loose, really glad you've got a handy guy, he'll earn you a fortune, see if he can paint, you basically need a painter, mechanic and a valleter full time.
I could wear a rolex and sit at a desk in a polo lol! To be honest almost flat out just doing deals on stock and picking up, could almost be a trade centre

That mechanic is worth his weight in gold! sure you will look after him. Every video you seem to have more cars even although you are selling plenty - you will need more space at this rate🙂
Great video James, BTW in future use an air compressor with blow off attachment to blast anything out of seat runners. I frequently have come across this issue and air blasted through works every time. Regards Andrew
James your business has certainly grown over the last few years with the outsourcing of the valeting, Painting and mechanical work.Keep it up,your doing a great job.👍
Good to see the young lad going out full time but just hope he gets by in the winter🤞good to hear you had your wallet saved a couple of times on the vitara and fabia but just hope whatever the other problem is with the fabia it's not to bad🙂👍
I don't know why so many cars have rear discs! Totally pointless on my Hyundai i10! Discs covered in rust! Most MOT testers know about this and it isn' a problem but tyre places always try to flog you new discs!
What 'renovator' do you use on faded grey external trim. I have a 2012 Honda CR-V that the grey wheel arch trim, front and rear bumpers along with the bottom of the door trims have all faded / bleached which I use autoglym on but doesnt last very long. (I have a hunch that the traffic film remover used by the local valeting /car wash I use maybe partially to blame - what are your thoughts??)
I spotted a VW up at the end of your Video , whatd your opinion on these cars , we bought a 2015 High Up (75bhp) a few months ago l think they are a fantastic small car . So refined and great ride and go-cart handling !! Oh fab video also 👍
Wait for the walleys to come marching in telling you that you should have prepped the Fabia properly 🤣 As if it's possible to inspect absolutely everything beforehand! These things do just happen, you notice something relatively minor and have that "oh sh1t" moment 😅
Just re sold the freeloader bud, got 3295 this time, it's all gone on since last may, other than a few bits it's basically the same as it was, done welding, only a bit, new battery, due to being stood, iow women didn't actually give me the new v5, but luckily I had the old one, she be all, I don't want him driving around in my name type of thing, she'd sorned it and left it at that.
