I've really enjoyed watching you incorporate stitching, fabric and embroidery pieces in your projects. It's really inspired me a lot. When I was growing up my mom and great aunt taught me various kinds of needlework - needlepoint, crewel, embroidery, cross stitch, and hand sewing. I never felt that I was very good at it but do have several pieces I stitched in frames and hanging in my home. Your knowledge of fabrics reminds me of my mom. I spent many hours in fabric stores when I was young. Little did I know that what I learned from that experience I'd be using in my journal making now, Thank you for sharing all that you know and inspiring me!

These are so lovely and very sweet! They truly are wonderful and a great way to keep special things together to put in a keepsake type journal. I find it so soothing to watch you stitch fabric to paper, strange thing I know but true! Love it! Have a fabulous day! 😊🌸😊
Ooh love those journal cards - paper and fabric! Rachel, your stories are the best - And you wouldn’t catch me walking in tall grass either. Here in northern California we have ticks and they totally freak me out! Ugly blood sucking creepy crawlie beasts that they are! 😏
Yes they have ticks here too my hubby has had them several times in the past. he got them when picking apsapragus, foturnately we were able to remove them. Thank you so much!

Hi Rachel your projects are always so clever. I thought you May be interested in a you tube channel treasured books she made a small journal from one sheet of 12x12 card you will love it she filled it with little inserts she stitched in pockets and tags etc. Hope you are well and safe.xx
