    I, too, hate steering wheel controls. I never use them, so I'd prefer a more aesthetic steering wheel.

  • @albertmiranda302
    @albertmiranda302 11 месяцев назад +8

    Steering wheel buttons are a “you can’t have your cake and eat it too” thing for me. I like comfort but I also like performance, so sometimes you have to commit to one or the other and not look back.

      Actually a good way to put it 🤣

    • @Destructoglitch
      @Destructoglitch 11 месяцев назад +2

      I feel like the easiest way to resolve the steering wheel controls situation is to have them be automatically disabled upon entering track mode. I doubt they release an update to do that, but it'd be nice.

    My GR86 came with the 8 speaker with optional factory 10” Kicker subwoofer. Great sound. No complaints yet

      @JTelesco  11 месяцев назад +1

      The subwoofer is a nice considerable option, BRZ didn’t come with that option unfortunately

    I did clutch spring delete a week after I got my 22 BRZ
    the cluch pedal shouldnt have any type of spring back there

      I’m gonna try running no spring as well before the MTEC

    Its an inexpensive fun little car, there aren't very many of them (at the rate they are being wrecked, fewer everyday) handling is outstanding, it's easy to nitpick but the only major issue imo is being underpowered.

    • @JTelesco
      @JTelesco  10 месяцев назад +2

      They actually hold up well on the track for being on the lower spectrum of power. Nitpickings aside, I 100% see the twins becoming a couple of JDM legends in the future

      @@JTelesco Oh ya, fun little track car, quite competitive in its class. I've really enjoyed it and it's a good looking vehicle.

    They're tiny, require Premium gas (that'll be an extra dollar per gallon please), you'll also pay a higher insurance premium, the interior has storage space issues, and the back seats are a joke,,,just like every other sports car.
    But it's a pretty good sports car.

    blind spot has been killing me. Coming from a 2000 Prelude it's a huge change. Blinker still suck bawls. Always will. It's whatever. Single wiper swipe feeling/motion sucks too. It's like fisher price compared to my wife's mid-ass Tiguan. Still love the car ha.

      There’s actually wide angle (not tinted) side mirrors available now. Gonna pick them up soon, seems like a good investment for your car’s safety lol

      Blind Spot Monitoring on the upper trim Gen2 is the best I've seen in any car. Combined with wide angle mirror solves the problem completely for me.

      @@connordooley fr, as toyota had it advertised as a track ready sports car the subaru engine and transmission is a very disappointing let down, the clutch is my least fav after 10k miles after living with a 6 speed fc3 civic

    Not in love with the clutch, 38,000 miles. Took the spring off almost immediately and it's better but not great. Been driving standard for a very long time. This is my least favorite clutch.
