Man just had my mower in the shop. Been wait two weeks to finally get a call back that my fuel line shut off valves were in the wrong position. Thought I blew my motor up. First diesel mower. Never ran out of fuel before. Only video I've found that showed me the correct. position of the valves. The shop had one of them in the wrong position! Thanks for the vid!

@@Dustinbelcher4523 It’s hard to read but on each valve it actually does say on or off but the valves are so far under the mower you can’t get your head in there. Im not a huge fan of the dual fuel tanks after using it.

@@soje113 no problem. Mine was indeed water in the fuel. I’ve put a few hours on it with no issues. I tried to light that old fuel on fire and it wouldn’t even light because it had so much water

thanks for the video -- only concern is the OSHA non compliant Crocs -- I avoid this problem by using Kubota orange duct tape on the top of mine:) In all seriousness, thanks. really appreciated.

Carefully placed hose pinch pliers prior to disconnection avoids the mess too

Spray carb spray on any type of hose connections prior to removal. Helps slide them off. Takes the fight out. 55's in automotive taught me.

Great video had a question, If water got into the gas tank is this where the water would accumulate?

    • @atvrepairsandmore2482

Yes, it would accumulate in the fuel tank. Usually, water would get in from an open cap or possibly filling up from a fuel source that has water/moisture in it.
