Kids suck though, its hard work if you're actually a mom. I'm not talking about popping them out and paying someone else to raise them so we can go off to work. Everyone wants to be a mom without doing the work of a mom. So think long and hard about it. I love my toddler but the SAHM life is no joke but I knew that going in. Omg yes finally!!! You two are pretty much the reason I finally got pregnant after years of infertility treatments with no answers! We had unexplained infertility but after eating high fat carnivore...specifically Kiltz’s BEBBI diet for just under two months I get pregnant and it stuck after 2 miscarriages! 31 weeks pregnant now and you both have helped me so much!!!

I’m a 20-something woman and I’m watching your channel Dr. Berry! 😂 I find this particular subject so fascinating. Almost all my friends have a diagnosis of PCOS, fibroids, or endometriosis. I’m the only one with a normal menstrual cycle, no medication, or PMS, but they think my carnivore diet is “out there” 🙈 and none of them want to try it.
Just started trying to conceive. I have been OMAD carnivore since early 2020. I have lost 80 lbs and only use pilates and yoga to manage my mental health as I have bipolar. I was worried about using this way of life while trying to get pregnant, during pregnancy, and during breastfeeding. Everything in "conventional medicine" is screaming at me that I am doing the wrong thing for my future baby. I feel so much better after watching this. THANK YOU to the both of you!
Dr. Berry, please do more videos on the carnivore diet and its effects on female health: fertility, hormones, cervical polyps, fibroids, and the vaginal microbiome. The last one is huge because it impacts so many women: struggling with BV, utis, yeast issues. So many women are struggling and there’s not a lot of content on how keto or carnivore impacts these things!
@Autumn Blade Dr. Berry do have precious videos on those type of topics but I think to get more debt it would be Dr. Kiltz because that is his background and Dr. Berry is a Primary Care physician and if you really want to reach Dr. Berry he has a live stream on Monday nights and he has a private group community that you can join to probably get more info.

Loved this! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Amen! I had pre-eclampsia with my first pregnancy and gestational diabetes with my second. I weighed 263 lbs on a 5’3” frame at both deliveries eating the sad way. Btw, eleven months after changing my diet I’m 73 lbs down.
I'm from Poland. When my sister had gestational diabetes, I couldn't find any NEW medical recommendations. All I found were old recommendations, 5 meals a day, blood tests, no eggs or meat, whole grain bread and vegetables. That's what the pregnancy dietician told her to eat. I regret not looking in English then, because now I'm on carnivore and I know a lot. Back then I was afraid I would harm my sister or the baby, I didn't find information on whether she could use keto. And the constant cooking, watching meal times and blood tests took away a lot of the joy of her pregnancy. I regret not knowing Dr. Berry's or Dr. Kiltz's channel!
I am lucky to not have issues conceiving, however I always had an incredibly LONG cycle. After just 3 months on keto (7kg down) my periods have normalised from 42+ day cycles and 8 days of menstruation to 31 day cycles and 5 days of menstruation!!! (TMI warning) And the difference is insane, in terms of how much blood loss! I remember when my Gyno wanted to put me on metformin to fix it. He was essentially TREATING early diabetes without actually diagnosing me. Terrible! He ended up giving me a script for the Pill which I scrunched up angrily as my blood pressure goes through the roof on the Pill due to my MTHFR gene status. I lost all faith in medicine in Australia after that. I'll just fix myself by lowering my insulin resistance.
Exercising is most definitely not unhealthy for anyone. Perhaps running a marathon every day may not be good if you’re trying to conceive due to an excess of internal heat, which I think is what Dr Kiltz was referring to. He would lose all credibility if he actually meant exercise is bad for us. I hope Dr Berry clarifies this for us
I’m going keto to heal and get pregnant. I believe in a lot of this but I can get on board 100% that plants are bad and causing the all the disease. All the people I know that are sick eat all processed. So plants do release chemicals but animals do also when killed, adrenaline and stress hormone. I think a lot of plants are good and we just need to cut out the starchy ones and I’m pretty sure people are getting sicker with processed foods over plants. But I myself will be cutting the starchy ones. Super excited to see a reduced in inflammation and autoimmune issues. Getting my health more balanced so I can go get help at CYN fertility if still needed. Thanks for all the info.
I'm starting to think that for a lot of people their systems are so overloaded from years of abuse that they need time to heal on a strict carnivore diet. In the long term I wonder if it might be OK to have well cooked whole fruits and vegetables in moderation. Theoretically after the body has healed it regains some ability to handle intermittent limited toxic loads.
I do primarily keto and have two kids. I 100% believe in exercise! I weight lift 5 days a week. Exercise is extremely important and will help you stay and look fantastic! I agree that the red meat is the best!!

I’m glad I found this video. I just started carnivore a couple weeks ago as I’ve tried everything and I have a similar but female story to Dr Kiltz. Always felt sick, always had migraines, always had issues. Tried paleo, I can’t eat nuts. Was unsure if I wanted to do Keto as the tracking everything to stay in ketosis seemed difficult. I’ve never felt better on carnivore except I don’t like turkey I’ve found. And once I stopped drinking an electrolyte beverage that contained citric acid (a synthetic toxin) the loose bowels I was experiencing disappeared!
@sweetgrl4jc its good that you found what was causing it. Also if you not aware already, you can get your minerals by pink Himalayan mineral salt as dr. Berry speak of by cooking with it. Can you guys talk more about why exercise is bad, or what types of exercise might be healthy? It doesn't seem like sitting around would be good either. Should we just be "active" every day instead of purposely running all at once or things like that?
I think Dr Kiltz was more saying that EXCESSIVE exercise is not great if you’re trying to get pregnant, due to in internal heat and stress it causes in the body. Also, he implied that it is never a good idea to try and beat a bad diet with excessive exercise, it doesn’t work.
My doctor told me to calorie restrict while pregnant. Avoid saturated fat because saturated fat will turn into sugar and cause me to have gestational diabetes. Time for me to find a new doctor I guess.
So obvious when Dr. Berry mentions anything from Dr. Berg. Keeps it classy but I like to hear from both. I'd love to see them do a joint video about what they agree and disagree about. But I've spent enough time watching both to know neither is right or wrong just slighy different methods. Just gravitate to your preference but either will get you on a better path than the SAD diet
Agreed. Slightly different methods because slightly different diets work better for different people. Dr. Berg has more recently started saying that if you suffer from different things you would be better off cutting out plants until you heal.
I watch both as well. I started with Dr. Berg just for health, general health I would say. But then I saw Dr. Berry. Like them both but being more carnivore is definitely more suited for ME. I feel better, I sleep better, I move better, my stomach doesn’t hurt after eating or get bloated every 5 seconds. I do some pickles sometimes and /or cucumber. Don’t have problems with them. I absolutely love doctors who are so versed in nutrition. I tell people I mostly meat based, I get one of those “really, I thought it’s so bad for you”.
Dr. Kiltz take copper to get rid of hydrogen peroxide buildup and take catalase enzyme. I am in Kingsport, Tennessee USA, studied Naprapathic Medicine in Chicago. Add beef liver.
I’m all for keto/carnivore during pregnancy but the thought of OMAD during pregnancy does not sit well with me. I’m less than 5 weeks away from my due date and I get nauseous if I don’t eat at least three meals a day. I especially I have to eat an extra meal now because the baby is crowding my stomach and I can’t fit a whole lot of food in there at one time (or even three times).
You mentioned preeclampsia at the end. Would you say high blood pressure is more a result of preeclampsia than high cholesterol if all other labs are fine?
It's a nutrient dense food, full of healthy fats and fat soluble vitamins. Any animal that had access to dairy and could tolerate it would eat it if they could.
Some human populations have long association with cattle and extended their production of lactase (Germanic peoples, Maasai and others), but it isn’t that common. I had a Tubal Ligation Reversal Operation at a Private Hospital in 2011 because the Clips Caused Pain and Cramps for Year's but I also wanted to Try for a Baby with my New Boyfriend I have now been with 20 Year's. I got Pregnant 4 Months after the Reversal at 43, at 45 and at 46 but Very Sadly all Ended in Miscarriage, I got to 10 Weeks Pregnant the 2nd time :-( I eat a lot of Liver, Beef and Fish, all the Good Oils and Butter and Minimal Carbs x
I love this video. I'm from Florida
Shared this with a family member.
These two are awesome doctors.
I would like to see a debate between Dr. Kiltz and Dr. Milton Mills
Two great personalities 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Also what if i can't afford to eat ribeye everyday? It's ground beef okay. I have tallow.
I really enjoyed this talk, very informative, thank you both 😊🙏
Can you guys talk more about why exercise is bad, or what types of exercise might be healthy? It doesn't seem like sitting around would be good either. Should we just be "active" every day instead of purposely running all at once or things like that?
I think Dr Kiltz was more saying that EXCESSIVE exercise is not great if you’re trying to get pregnant, due to in internal heat and stress it causes in the body. Also, he implied that it is never a good idea to try and beat a bad diet with excessive exercise, it doesn’t work.

Best talk ever ❤❤❤
Great interview big Ken! 💯
Great news from Abu Dhabi, UAE
My doctor told me to calorie restrict while pregnant. Avoid saturated fat because saturated fat will turn into sugar and cause me to have gestational diabetes. Time for me to find a new doctor I guess.
Get a new dr.! Look up Dr Anthony Chaffe. Homesteadhow has great videos and interviews. Neisha dr. Berrys wife has videos too
Yes, new doc ASAP! Growing babies need fat from conception onward.❤
@@TrekieGal yeah medicalDr. Vs Althernative medicine Dr. Some of the supplements dr berg helped me a lot especially turmeric
Dr sten ekberg is even better than berg
I watch both as well. I started with Dr. Berg just for health, general health I would say. But then I saw Dr. Berry. Like them both but being more carnivore is definitely more suited for ME. I feel better, I sleep better, I move better, my stomach doesn’t hurt after eating or get bloated every 5 seconds. I do some pickles sometimes and /or cucumber. Don’t have problems with them. I absolutely love doctors who are so versed in nutrition. I tell people I mostly meat based, I get one of those “really, I thought it’s so bad for you”.
Dr. Anthony Chaffe is worth watching too
Dr Berry, what type of pregnancy did the 51 and 48 year old women have ? assisted or natural conception ?
My guess would be natural conception since they were initially mad about being pregnant. They probably assumed they were past their fertility window.
Lolol
21 and watch your channel often. Thank you so much! (Btw always looking for more pregnancy and child food lifestyle related content. :) )
Thank you for sharing this important conversation!
Very amazing video. So glad i watched to the very end
Dr. Kiltz take copper to get rid of hydrogen peroxide buildup and take catalase enzyme. I am in Kingsport, Tennessee USA, studied Naprapathic Medicine in Chicago. Add beef liver.
Was waiting for Dr Berry to say something about the ice cream and sugar.
Watching from Africa Uganda
Great video, thanks!
🖐🇧🇸 watching from Freeport The Bahamas!
Is he taking new patients? Willing to travel to Atlanta
Did you have a appointment with him?
Heat, friction, repetitive action will damage the sperm, egg, embryo (treadmill, weight lifting, sauna)
Hi I'm for Ottawa Canada
You are amazing doctor Thank you
More Men need to participate in fertility enhancing diets, exercise and vitamin taking its not only up to women :( ;(
You mentioned preeclampsia at the end. Would you say high blood pressure is more a result of preeclampsia than high cholesterol if all other labs are fine?

I wish to know all these info years ago.....
what do you think of red light therapy for fibroids/uterine polyps doctor?
I don’t see animals in nature consuming dairy after infancy. Why do we?
It's a nutrient dense food, full of healthy fats and fat soluble vitamins. Any animal that had access to dairy and could tolerate it would eat it if they could.
Grass fed butter is high in k2 and vitamin a etc and a delicious fat source
Some human populations have long association with cattle and extended their production of lactase (Germanic peoples, Maasai and others), but it isn’t that common. The majority of Asian people (which is simply the majority of all people, right?) are lactose intolerant.
Oh, and milk is designed to make babies put on weight. I’m trying to keep it off, baby! Ha ha.
@@coffeemachtspass im germam and milk doesnt spike my blood sugar or cause digestive issues. And the perfext electrolytes in it help my migraines. Gotta go grass fed though
@@kayoss2306But so many humans don’t tolerate milk well, Asians, Africans, American Indians. A lot of white children also have problems with milk.

I’m 41. I’ve had 4 babies, three in my 30s, and one at 40. I’m longing for one more. Just one more. Is there any hope for a woman my age on the carnivore diet? Please somebody tell me there’s hope. My period and ovulation has become irregular.
You can’t go wrong doing this lifestyle of eating. It will help almost every person
if you could say one top thing you can eat to reduce inflamation or not eat. I am thinking of cutting out all sugar? What do you think? Thanks, Dr. Kiltz
I lost a baby from an ectopic pregnancy. Lost my left tube and had to go into emergency surgery. Worried if my right tube would cause the same thing. Would these topics cover healing or keeping my only tube healthy to have a healthy pregnancy and increase the chances not losing a baby again?
I hope so. So sorry you went through that ♡♡
Hi Cindy, I went through the exact same thing. This month will be 3 years since it happened. Just curious if you are still TTC or had any success? Thanks for sharing your story 💜
@@britster8964 my husband and I still want another child but we are waiting until I finally get healthy enough. Sadly, I got an infection from the tubal removal and almost lost my only tube I had left. This just increased my chances of another ectopic pregnancy more than before. We are scared and I have not been able to rest about it.
@@cindygonzalez4803 so sorry to hear about that 😢sending prayers and good vibes your way for healing and a future blessing.
Will this help Endometriosis?
My daughter is expecting to get pregnant in Monroe, La.
Watching from Apex NC
Do these tips also apply to hypothalamic amenorrhea which is the absence of a menstrual cycle due to undereating and overexercising ?
😳 why would you live sich a lifestyle and but your body under such tremendous stress?
Yes, eat more animal fats and rest more.
Yes. Your body needs fat to develop mature eggs and ovulate.

I didn't know you have this video
I'm looking for a family physician in the central New York State area. I came across Dr. Kiltz. He has good keto videos. I couldn't reach his office by email or phone. I'm still looking for a good ketogenic physician in that area.
5+ years of not being able to get pregnant I recently switched to carnivore regardless of my fertility doctor scaring me and saying I’ll have high cholesterol and high chance of heart attack that « studies show people who eat to much animal products have lower fertility « my question is should I still take prenatals?
Hi Dr. Berry. I want to start the ketogenic diet. What would be the steps to prepare my body to it? Thanks
45:30 touched a nerve there 😂😂
Can do one on water retention
I did a food sensitivity test- turns out I’m sensitive to ALL beef, lamb and pork… How can I even do this? I really want to but what do I even eat???? 😢
Do you also have a leaky gut?
Histamine..red beef only to heal..gradually add those back in later
Thanks Doctors, are special gift to mankind. I tested high protein in my urine. Started the carnivore diet, wont this affect me the more? Please reply, I really need to lose weight, reduce my blood pressure, stomach inflammation, allergies. Already a week plus in this new diet.
Is it safe to do OMAD while being pregnant?
Dr. K says exercise is bad for you but I heard him on a Zoom cast say that he does 100 push ups every day. Is he saying there is a difference between “exercise “ and strength training?
Yes I think so. I think he is making the point to keep it calm. Don't do cross fit, don't do crazy aerobic exercises. Keep it simple and non stressful
I am very interested! But I have Gilbert’s syndrome, and I am not sure I can go keto. Do you know anything about it?
EAGLEVILLE, Tn
I would have thought that icecream would be a no no food on a carnivore diet?
Not if you make it with heavy cream and egg yolks only. Kiltz carnivore ice cream. It's all animal.
