I read the thumbnail and was like, "it has to be snap-on for that price"
I figured it must be one of those Longacre temp compensating ones.:

I have a buddy who used to work for a place that made titanium pressure gauges and tire pumps for rich bicyclists. I'd guess theirs are in that price range.
@@wingracer1614 oh dang, that is expensive. I said snap on because it's $500 for a set of ten sockets.

I had the exact same thought, word for word LOL
I visited St George Island with my "wife at the time" too. We have rent us an RV in Orlando and make a round trip. After arrival in St George i parked the RV an we go to the beach, male some photos, go for a swim and just relaxed for a bite after the 3h drive from Ichetucknee Springs. It was our 4th day with the RV and first RV trip. I decided to open the side door to the living compartment an let her in and go around to start the engine for the AC. Since i opened the side door i put the door lock pin down(lazy guy don´t want the sand in the carpet) and shut the door.
I walk around an ask my "wife at the time" why she is standing outside in the sun and not inside in the shower. Well i turned the cheap RV look in the wrong direction and it is still look. The engine and AC is running, the key is inside an we are outside. Someone got made on me... You should call the rental company or a locksmith.....This cost us $$$...
Next thing i check are the roof vent, all closed but i was willing to rip one open if i have to. Probably cheaper the make the call for the rental company. Next thing i checked are the sliding windows, all locked but the have the some cheap butterfly locks. Some tappy tap tap later the lock flips open, put the screen away slide the window open an lift my "wife at the time" into the RV. The rest of the vacation we put duc tape on the butterfly locks. She was made on me but couldn't believe how i noticed this crappy design flaw that saved our day and some money too. And we have a good story how i broke into the RV ;)
If this cat and Rabbit and Ed get together there will be no stopping the show. In my mind it will be a Hangoveresque cannonball adventure. We need that movie.
He's definitely one of the best VINwiki story tellers. Keep them coming.
This reminds me of the time I was out in Moab Utah off-roading with my 87 Toyota pickup and broke the passenger frame rail. I ended up limping back to the hotel cut down a small tree in their parking lot used a section of log showed inside the frame railand four rolls of duct tape wrapped around it and drove it like that all the way back to Indiana. Then used the truck for another year hauling firewood around the farm then drove it to the scrap yard.
Great to see Christopher back on VinWiki!
I love Chris's stories. Not just because he is so good at telling them, but also because he talks about things that all car guys can relate to.
The roadside mishaps and bodges.
I once had to bodge my car in a police garage so I could take it away! The copper pulled a face when it worked, it was a mixture of respect and annoyance at not getting a rat off of the road...
"that was a creative solution for a problem that never should have existed in the first place".
I'm stealing that
Different tires for the same vehicle! I thought I was the only one that did that. Mines a ‘98 Forester though. I do need some adjustable hight suspension though, maybe airbag it.
Just get an inch lift. Airbags ride pretty bad
Last time I was this early, Freddy had us tricked into thinking he was buying a real Bugatti.
It didn't sound like she came up with any solutions or any way to help with the problem but she was very keen to make a statement about it. Makes sense why it was his wife at the time
Every few months I have to listen to Chris. This one makes me feel like I'm down the beech. It's late November in pa so that's nice
This dude could tell me a story about what he had for breakfast and I would be spellbound!
I Love Ed and rob , but this guy is my new favorite story teller !
I think my favorite part of all his stories at some point he always says “my wife at the time” 🤣🤣🤣
Christopher is the best story teller on VinWiki!
This dude seems super chill. Be yourself man!!
Great video as always. Love how he notes the importance of tires. 👌🙌
“ I gave them some granola bars and some water, To them this was a survival situation I was just trying to save $475” lmao 😆
IM GLAD HE HAD A GOOD TIME
I live in Africa, and you need a 4x4 for most roads, and your car ends up with more of these creative solutions than actual parts. We call it African engineering, and it's scope is limitless. You can repair almost anything with a flip flop, some duct tape, and a couple sticks of sugar cane......
I love when this guy shows up with another story, always a good story coming from a good story teller.
This guy is a great story teller. You need to have more of him.
By far my favorite vinwiki guest
Chris is by faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar the best story teller on the this channel!!!
As soon as I saw the title , I knew it was Christopher Michaels . Awesome story as always !!
Swear to God this dudes stories are just awesome his detailed accounts have me visualizing everything
Been binging this channel over the weekend and out of an absolute class of great characters this guy is the cream of the crop
I've got a crazy ex-GF that's probably put $475 worth of product through a tire gauge.
Joe Dirt's Uncle has the best stories.
of all the people to get stuck in the "wilderness" with, Christopher would at least make it a memorable experience, no matter what happened.
Always good to see Chris on stories!
Great video! One of my favorite story tellers!
After reading the title, I just knew it would be Christopher...love his stories.

Exactly, shit bags, wouldnt mind but 10 oclock comes your gonna get dragged out anyway lol
They were good guys and would have stayed if I'd asked them, but were pretty nervous to be stuck out there and since they wouldn't be any help with the repair anyway, I gave them some some supplies and sent them on their way to ease their fears, figuring I'd pick them up as I drove out. I didn't take it personally.
I love how all these car guy stories have the saying “My wife at the time”
That phrase at the end, cherry on the cake.
Chris is amazing. Bring more of his stories.
Christopher is the best on this channel honestly
You have The Best stories and tell them so well.
The last line should be a sticker. “That was a creative solution for a problem that should’ve never existed in the first place.”
my entire life has been creative solutions to problems that never should have happened in the first place. I can relate.

“That was a creative solution for a problem that should never have happened in the first place” 😂😂😂
Wears Bob Ross T-shirt, talks about coloring outside the lines. 🤔 I love this guy😀
Not coloring outside the lines, just a happy little accident.
The real hero here is the hacksaw. Who carries a hacksaw in their car?!
I probably have one, but then again, I do some on site repairs, so I have enough tools to fix a range of equipment, as well as my own vehicle. Most people probably don't, but he did say he had food and water, and other supplies, so I assume he has simple tools to fix most issues with his vehicle and camp site.
Serial killers mostly
I've been to far more remote places than this one and with the luck I have, I carry a huge selection of tools and spare parts. The Smuggler Truck even has an on-board welder and an air compressor because you never know what you're going to encounter out there.
You need a Bone 🍖 saw blade not a hacksaw blade if your serious about doing a Dennis Nielsen
I noticed I was wearing the exact same Bob Ross shirt while watching this! LMAO
The fact that their tow truck is a chopped 10-ton is so awesome
I just worked it out near the end when he mentioned again his tire gage and I compared it to the 475 dollar tow out fee
I knew this was gonna be a Christopher story from the title! Brill!
This has to be my favorite vinwiki story teller him and rabbit are awsome lol
He low key teaches us about how to fix cars while tellimg an amazing story

His wife: that’s a creative solution for a problem that should’ve never existed😂
"A creative solution to a problem that should never have existed" got eem lol
Chris your the best you need your own channel for storytelling
Reminds me of being out in the woods. We started down a road, but came across a tree blocking the way. Had a chainsaw, but it refused to work (Thank you California gas) A thunderstorm moved in as we were trying to retrace our steps, and the beginning part of the road became so darn slick, we were not able to make it back up from whence we came. That left the only option of trying to keep going down the road, as the road just did not want to let us go back. I had an old extension cord in the back of my truck, and we were able to loop it several times on itself, and used it to pull the tree enough off the road so we could get by, and out the bottom.
You use what you have, and sometimes must think outside the box. (Now for all the people to tell me I need a winch, need to make sure I use fuel stabilizer for my saw, should have tire chains, should not go out unprepared, how bigfoot got their car out for them in the exact situation that I was in...)
I don’t think Christopher has had a poor story yet always great
Another amazing story from Christopher. Love it.
My father's 01 ram had the same vacuum line puncture. I ended up cutting some washer fluid hose off and just splicing it into the line to fix the 4wd. Works in a pinch. Still under the truck to this day.
"its all good, i never get stuck" - famous last words
