Your wolf is spectacular with his this lushious winter coat, the ears are fluffy, I immediatly want to sctatch the ears and cuddle him lol, thats how real he looks!
I brought myself a 24 set a few years back of ploycrimos and am so proud of them. I would dream of the large set! Lately I have seen the lightfasr but they are increadanly expensive too. Today I saw on Amazon the 24'er soecial edition set for only €12.- plus postage, which is unbelievably cheep - but I dont need repeats yet! I find them remarkable, undoubtably my favourite as well. Thank you Bonnie, I did always love Polychromes, but I really learn how to use them properly with you , and learn how to shade and put down so many layers.

Thank you Bonny for highlighting Polys. I did not fall in love with Polys until I started to do animal fur. I literally had NO idea how versatile they are. I can use them under waxy pencils like Prisma and Luminance. I can use them as base layers and then go over it with Gamsol so it creates it own beautiful painterly under layer. And my favorite, over panpastel-oh my goodness the depth that is created together with them and pastels is simply magical.

thank you so much Bonny, they are incredible pencils. I love the luminance too (and the pablos i have tried) May i ask your thoughts on the lightfast? I have tried a few- i thought they would be more similar to luminance in feeling.. They seem to have a cult following. thank you so much

Faber-Castell - USA
Polychromos Color Pencils are comprised of vegetable oil, wax and the highest quality pigments with superior lightfast characteristics and brilliance. There are minimal amounts of wax used so that there is no waxy bloom produced.
