Do you know that one guy who makes knifes out of everything?

Nice edit on his part, but he was referring to stock. You can make an amazing fish stock with that piece.

Lol
I love how as soon as he opens the box he just takes a giant sniff of the fish. Quality content right there.
I worked in the fishing industry and although this fish looks fresh, I never like/recommended getting a fish without a head. You can see how fresh a fish is from the color of the gills, so if they are removed...you can't be sure if it's fresh.
In my experience, you can tell freshness of trout and salmon by testing the strength of the meat. If the rib bones come out when you open the fish, no good. If the meat feels good and the bones stay intact, then good.
@@alextchieng7621 sometimes the meat is just soft though. You’re not gonna tell me the fish I just caught that day and threw in the cooler as soon as it was caught is not fresh just because the bones popped out when i cut it. I’m assuming your talking about the pin bones because yeah those stick up sometimes. If you’re talking about the actual rib cage then, no I can’t say I’ve had that happen
@Thomas Flores you ever caught kokanee? Put em in your live well for a couple hours. The meat will start falling apart. Used to catch em at night. When we got home, rib bones would be separating from meat. Now we put em on ice.

The best part about this is that he didn’t even take a bit of the fish (no hate)
When the head isn’t shipped that’s a clear sign of the fish possibly being old. Also I’ve seen fresh gills shipped with old product with no head. As a fish monger for the past 12 yrs it’s the oldest trick in the books. Not only that, but you are being charged for the head
Steps and instructions unclear, my salmon is walking on the yard
I don’t see why this guy gets so many dislikes. He cooks food, and it looks good! What did you expect from a cooking channel?
Not cutting off your sentences
He has like 19 dislikes and 1.2k likes. I would say that’s a pretty damn good ratio
People used to hate him cuz he always try to look cool and the MM- but now he's more chill
@@kaasimalam5848 better?
He started copying the signature moves and distinctive features from all the top tiktok chefs, max the meat guy, the sgt. Gilbert one, the other guy with the perfect loops etc.. one or two from each chef and cram all of them in each of his videos to the point of confusing people by mimicking them so shamelessly. His videos're like mashups. So unoriginal. Thank God he's starting to relax a bit but that's how he got traction. No such thing as bad publicity as long as one can trigger the yt algorithm to force his videos to be shoved in the faces of people who were already watching cooking and recipes shorts.
When he says copper riven salmon he sounds like the ad break for fullmetal alchemist
“Where’s the head? I was expecting some head” looool
Wilbur: “S-Sally?”
The video is edited in a weird way...
What you need to show us is where you get these insane knives from??? How are they so perfect
I believe they are shuns.....they are nice but most upscale kitchens will have at least a few in them.
This is hilarious! Nailed the satire dude
That is for the visual tutorial man! I was planning to catch a walleye to prepare and serve for my family, and this was a great help to how to do that.

Oh yeah lol and that chuckle let me know he was making a funny
He said COPPER RIVER SALMON so many times it's stuck in my head like a song

First get a $1200 fish, so when finished you have fish left for $300, easy.
Wut.
He is trolling so hard with the cuts😂
Am I the only one thing king about how adorable that cat is

Fishermen: Add one more to the catch
Cooks that fish: Fish head soup taught by my boy Matt!
i love how it just cuts off its great
Him feeding it to his cat is so relatable because whenever I cook with meats
I let my cats taste test it first
The amount of chef's disappointed I felt from the "I kind of expected the head..." was strong with this one
“that’s okay you can use this scrap to make a nice- fish tweezers”
I swear this is the only fish they use in cooking videos
Me during the whole video: please don't slap the fish. Please don't slap the fish
Me when the video ended: YAYYY!

I like how he cuts the end of his sentences like Casey Neistat
That looked heavenly
That looks really good and that’s nice she feeds a little to his cat 😊😊😊🤗🤗
In the Philippines if you buy fish at the wet market, you can tell them to get the stomach and the fish bones but the big bone that connects to the tail is not included. But with a milk fish, there are still fish bones at the sides.
Now that looks good

Is nobody gonna talk about how he kept saying the name over and over again? Like he said it once and I was like "oh ok copper river salmon" and then he says it again and I'm like "alright" and the he says "This here is a CoPpEr RiVeR sAlMoN" and I'm like "wtf I know"
What do your mother and this fish have in common?
“She got a lot of bones in her”
I like how the intro was so long that at the end parts he couldn't add much speech anymore
I need to hear more about how to use the spine to make fish tweezers
I typically drive to the Copper river to get Copper River Salmon. Kenai River Reds are my favorite though. But to be honest Silver and King Salmon are both tastier.

As an ex-Alaskan fisherman that actually fished Copper River salmon, that fish brings back a lot of memories.

Can't wait to try his fish tweezer recipe
I've worked at one of the processors that likely chopped that things head off. I worked the "slime line" that was responsible for making sure the guts were removed properly and the artery along the spine is gone. It was fun work.
