It is multifaceted: it can be sweet and warm; it can be smoky and herbaceous...it can even have inherently boozy facets. It is a perfect component to add an enigmatic depth to a profile, or it can be the centerpiece of a scent. Today's video is about the latter.

Great ratings Grace. I definitely agree with her rating for Creation E (Enigma). Although it’s very unique, I’m just not as drawn to it as I hoped. I bought a tester a few months ago that I’ll probably get rid of. Again, it’s unique, but I don’t love it. Kinda funny because Fan Your Flames is VERY unique as well. Although it’s not a “love”…I’m still intrigued enough that I want to keep it in my collection. Argos Triumph of Bacchus is a beautiful scent. Even though it smells like Mancera Red Tobacco, it’s much cleaner than Red Tobacco. The opening is AMAZING!!! On a side note, Naxos is another great tobacco fragrance that comes to mind. Over time, I’ve really grown to love this fragrance. The more I smell it the more I LOVE IT!!! It seems like it always smells a little different (in a good way) whenever I wear it. Holla.

I'm definitely a fan of Guerlain l'homme ideal extreme. My favorite tobacco scent is Herod by pdm. Tabac by ATH is pretty good too.

Grace, please get your hands on Memories by the Gate for a cherry cola version of Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille and for spring and autumn I'd heartily suggest 'Rivalite Imperiale' by Plume Impressions. Holy smokes, what a fragrance. It has dried fruits, tobacco and the most beautiful mirabelle plum note. For added sweetness and interest there is a ghost note of toasted coconut too. High recommendations, both of them. Hope you can get your hands on samples and give them a test run on a night out with Justin. :)

Love Smoulder so many good tobacco fragrances Cherqui would be one of my tops along with Happyland Studios Signature. Of course the ever popular Herod and Naxos are in my line up. Creation E is a favorite as well.

Have you tried Series Tabac by Parfums Vintage? I bought a sample, and once I smelled it, I had to get a 100ml bottle. Smells like a new cigar. So realistic, sweet and edible!

I have Herod, TV, Tabac Doré, Pure Havane, 18.21, Mancera RT, Volutes, and some others, but among them I like CH Mystery Tobacco the most. Its the most well blended, easy to wear, not-so-gourmand tobacco to my nose and yet I don't see any reviews from any of you guys on RUclips. Hmp.
Simply haven’t smelled it. CH hasn’t impressed me in the past, so I haven’t been compelled to dig into the house since. But I’ll take note of that one.

Initio Side Effect and Mancera Red Tobacco are a couple of my favorite tobacco scents... my next pick up is Zaharoff Signature Tobac
I’m a big fan of Tobacco Fragrances. I just ordered a bottle today of 18.21 Handmade Sweet Tobacco. My absolute favorite fragrance with Tobacco is Blonde Amber by Clive Christian.

As far as Tobacco goes I only have “The One” from D&G. While it’s great, it’s fairly beginner, anyone have any “next-step” recommendations? Cheapie category if possible..

Nice! Don't feel bad about l'homme Ideal Extreme, I didn't get tobacco either, I love it but after 10 minute sniffing and re-sniffing, I opted for the Intense. My favorite Tobacco perfumes where you can actually detect tobacco J.V. Vintage, and D&G pour homme (1994) I have to smell the 2012 one. On the other hand, my favorite one where tobacco is not in your face is Channel's Egoiste. Ombre leather parfum is also great, but again the tobacco is rather subtle there.
I still need to revisit Egoiste! Been very curious for a while.
I new it Justin...When i first got Smoulder it blew me away! Now that you soon to be Wife has confirmed i am right because she is very very very Picky and doesn't give lots of Fragrances a 9! Hell yea i am glad i have a bottle of that....It really isn't a good subject thou Justin! Smoulder is a bad subject because others really want that one and they cant get it!...So i guess i really don't talk about it much! But i love it!

I love Red Tobacco too. But once I got my hands on Triumph of Bacchus, I sold it. Very similar, but to me Triumph is that much better

L'Homme Ideal Extreme smells exactly like a cigar for me ... The tobacco stands out for my nose!
I adore tobacco - there are a few on this list that I want to get my nose on!
Right now, my go-to is Mystery Tobacco by Carolina Herrera...it's just so warm and comforting and delicious.

But already I have the impression that 99% of the RUclipsrs talk about the same 20 fragrances all the time. I've been going mainly for niches recently, they are much more intriguing to me and there is so much to discover! There is never a video by you where I already know all fragrances. @@stayfreshproductions 🤣🤣 listen it is what it is! I think Red Tobacco (in my opinion) is often loved by those who haven’t experienced the higher end of niche tobacco fragrances. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. If they toned down that migraine inducing opening, it really would be the one!

This generation of 10 yrs ago to present has magically was turned to like what girls like feminine sweet stuff , years back mens colognes were manly not some sugar sweet stuff , media push sweet in the name of sexy via you tubers and GQ mags and such . Very few manly fragrance but a dominance of sweet fragrance and men felt for the push of sweet just like the girls like...Trust me women still like a manly man and smell but been tricked into thinking sweetness scent on a man is good.. lol
That is the natural evolution! No thing will always be as it once was…which means that the fragrances you remember associating with men could easily come back as the trend someday.
@@stayfreshproductions maybe maybe not because the trend of turning men to fem side agreement is here to stay so that means the trend maker don't want masculine men anymore.
@@Angel-AbC9 you never know. In fact, Tom Ford has made an effort over the last 5 years or so to bring back those older scent profiles with releases like his Fougère line and Beau de Jour.
Either way, nobody can keep you from smelling the way you want to smell!
