Thanks Elizabeth is still sometimes think that i was the problem second guessingy myself was just as nasty in my response and the resultant confrontation now i know the truth and it's my Truth thanks again
So true Elizabeth, I have sometimes thought I was the narcissist after the narcissists gaslighting and manipulation. The moment you educate yourself you find the problem was not you. I will be honest, I went off at someone in a message about 3 or 4 weeks and I know I went off and felt bad for going off at this person that I apologised, she did not deserve it 😞. Thank you Elizabeth 💜
@@robertovss3237 can perfectly understand and relate. It's hard when we went through prolonged emotional abuse and C-PTSD is a painful consequence. Also experienced times where I can be pretty nasty which I don't like. Keep strong healing in peace, Roberto 🙏🏻✨
Absolutely true and thanks for addressing this topic as questioned myself and wondered if I was the problem. Although therapy work has helped me recover but educating myself with content like this has made a difference for good since narcissism was not talked about back then but only addressed as "toxic/problematic/abusive individuals". I'm not an angel but just a human who had to defend myself and loved ones from these individuals since I was very young. Normally healthy people don't seek to be the centre of attention/admiration but just don't want to be messed with. Thank you so much for all your helpful content, Elizabeth. Your work is truly appreciated 💜
Totally agree 💯, the 5 years of counselling/therapy helped me, but educating myself with Elizabeth's content has helped me get the closure I did not get from the narcissist, but Elizabeth's content is still helpful for me to heal. Have a blessed day Aurora ✨️ 🙏
@robertovss3237 it's life changing indeed. Gaining knowledge, awareness and understanding of what we've been through is empowering. Have a blessed day, Roberto ✨ 🙏🏻
I have done this , I’ve reflected , questioned and been through all of it … I’ve been into therapy for it! Because I thought I was the problem …. I’m not , I was so stupid to allow it and also she’s a private therapist herself … how much more insane can it get ?!?!
I've never questioned if I'm a narcissist, I've always called out bullsh-t which might look like I'm the bully, the difference is if you've got morals and values you know right and wrong then their is no reason to question yourself,
Trying to draw red lines and promptly respond with legal measures has been hard. Makes me feel like an ass :( but no matter how much leniency or mercy I gave, no matter how much de-escalation I attempted, it only got worse. My behaviour resulting from all of that certainly made me ponder my behaviour... being nasty and toxic myself. Blyargh!
