Once you bound it again you should’ve just set it in the water with the lid off and pointed it towards the shoreline and either got a long stick to put it in the back to hold it into place while you tested all the functions to make sure they were going to stay working the 2nd time ,and this way you still could’ve made a vid on it !! Obviously it is what it is !! Stay and Play Safe !! 👍✌️
It happens, Here's an idea for boat recovery, How about attaching a piece of metal to the hull of the boats, Have the Titanic with a magnet attached off the line somewhere to pull it back. hey its worth a try.

We would use a fishing rod with a small rubber ball and a big grappling type of hook made of coat hanger wire to retrieve boats. You just cast pass it and then real it in.
Yay Titanic for the rescue. Would be to scale if you add a Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet figure on the bow of the titanic to recreate one of the movie iconic scenes in movie history? Lol j/k. Patreon bills at the end of the month (well, actually, the 1st of the following month), so if you just signed up this month, you may not have been billed yet. Seems like a weird way to do it, but I guess it works and keeps things simple. Yeah you're bound to end up with a dud every now and again -- be it an airplane, heli, drone, ground vehicle, or boat. Looks like you got served up a nice plump juicy lemon (or "lime" in this case) that required rescue from the most unlikely of sources...the good 'ol R.M.S. Titanic. ;-)

Go over to the folks fishing and see if you can borrow about 10 feet of fishing line and get either a meps spinner or a fly called a double renegade and tow it around with the titanic, I bet you can catch a fish. The Titanic looks like the perfect speed to troll for trout. That would be a fun video!
It sounds like the prop shaft is bent or the gears aren't alined properly but thanks anyways for being honest and not sugar coating something that is not worth buying. Bless you quys, take care
While I would normally say that you're right, with a boat like this, not so. People who purchase one of these REALLY want a RTR. A product like this should not need anything to get going. Sure, maintenance, but that's a different story. This is not for someone who does a lot of RC boating, it's for the guy who wants to keep it as simple as possible.
@@AB-80X should still atleast grease the shaft at the minimum. If you don't go over your rtrs before you run them especially buying from banggood then you could run into some issues.
You should bring along a small cheap fishing rod. A little blunted treble hook and a bit of weight would be a quick cast and recovery option. And wow, really surprised it died that quick, maybe a dud? Such a shame for the price and looked pretty decent.
There's a good chance that if it has some kind of bind in the prop shaft, it goes into overheat protection. Then when you turn the boat off and back on, it resets. Good call on the pass, it performed like junk to be honest. No bueno... I think a popular boat you guys would enjoy and which is not too high priced, is the 36 Sonicwake. Self righting and a good out of the box runner for the RC'er just looking to have some fun without too much hassle.

I had to do the same thing a few weeks ago. I'm going to start glueing small magnets to my boats so they will stick to each other for rescues

If you don't have the Titanic to rescue your boat you can try bringing a fishing pole with you
I think, you may need calibrate the esc for the speed. The same as for cars.

I use a collapsing fishing pole with a tennis ball. Cast over the boat, snag it and reel it in! Worked every time (BTY -which was not that often)

Why don't you just reverse instead of making those big unnecessary circles
If the titanic has reverse why are you looping and not bumping and backing up to bump again ??
Its reverse doesnt really work that well, and causes it to spin more than actually go in reverse. Basically all RC boats work this way.
