I just picked up a snowboard addiction training board and balance bar to give me something to do on the off-season

Ah what part of the midwest? I feel ya there, I live in Kentucky and my closest resort is an hour and a half away and it’s just a small place. It’s fun but it’s definitely not the same after you ride real mountains haha. My wife jokes with me all the time saying I picked literally the worst sport for where we live 🤣. Nice!! I got one 2 years ago and love it! I don’t get it out as often as I should sometimes but once I get on it I have a blast. I’ve been adding that in to the end of all my workout, getting on it for 10-20 minutes and I’ve been loving it. It definitely helps when I use it consistently
@@BoardsBikesAndHikes we are in northern Illinois so we usually hit up WI for snowboarding which isn’t bad but like you said, once you go out west, it’s not the same lol

Good video. I just need one thing from you and thats if you had only two options hero 10 and X2 which one would you choose for skiing(same as snowboarding)
Oooooooo putting me on the spot. If I could only have one…. I think I’d have to say X2. The hero 10 is a phenomenal camera. It’s quality is unmatched, but with that a higher price tag and I feel like with the X2 you can get a bigger variety of shots than just the traditional POV. The X2 all around I think is more fun, gives you way more options and is cheaper. For self filming it gives a way wider shot than even the 10 with the max lens. I use it with just one battery and have been getting 3 and a half hours of straight filming on that battery. I either take out both, or if I just grab one the X2 has become my go to. I haven’t been disappointed by any of the places I’ve taken it so far.
