Of course, it's not at all the same as when we had Adam, but he keep Three Days Grace working, and that's pretty cool
I've heard people say Three Days Grace should have changed their name as if they sound completely different. I disagree, bands change singers all the time. They also change their sound up. It's still the same band playing the music, just with a new frontman. That's like Nightwish changing their name everytime they replace their female vocalist. It's stupid.
Blink 182 only has 1 original band member or that's what I've been told and they're still Blink 182

Hats off to the dude honestly, I fuckin HATED his vocals to Adams songs early on, he’s finally learned how to sing them. Sounds a lot better now than he did in the beginning

I'll be honest he was great here! He's really improved his performance on this song and on older songs. I know I prefer Adam but you have to give Matt props for improving and singing his heart out :)).
Love or hate Matt Walst all you want, but I saw them in Charlotte last month and he’s a hell of a fuckin front man. Miss Adam G but Adam left so the band picked up Matt and moved on like they should have.

About a year to 2 ish years ago, I wouldn’t never have gone to see TDG unless I felt like I was ready to deal with the not so great vocals by Matt on the old songs, but he truly has changed it up so well, he now knows how to take on the primal grit of adams vocals and the harmonious harmonies. By not means does it compare to Adams, but it works, and it works well, I can say when they come back to VA/MD/DC I will go see them, and I will enjoy it and not have to think abt the vocals Becuase he’s learned how to do it correctly now. Hats off to Matt. Good job man

He did a good version of riot as well you should check it out Matt Walst might not be as good as Adam Gontier but he did a damn good job keeping the band alive after Adam split ways. You don’t have to like him but you need to respect the work he’s put in to keeping this band alive.

Oh god i hate how he tries to sing Adam's song like its his own it really ISNT. adam will always be better at singing his old songs than him. Release all three days grace to saint asonia, with the person it belongs with. You cant switch up after a decade plus, and expect it to sound good with someone else. Sorry 🤷🏻♂️

So, to keep this chat positive, I have their recent Human album. It still has the 3DG formula and I kept listening to I Am Machine. Have a bright day!
