In this last year we had some of the most heartwrenching moments in the game: -The fate of the lost Council Fleet. -The birth of the Ashes, and the last moments of Dr. Anzeel. (That little moment with Wichita and Kimberly META, where they can't remember the commander but sense that him is somebody precious to them, even when totally broken...) -Sara's dream with Lex: this is the one moment in the entire Lore that made me shed a few tears, with Sara's full transit between the 5 stages of grief to Lex's will to her sister to return to reality and do what it's needed. -Kaga's sacrifice to save Akagi. -Amagi's revival, and Akagi's confession of sins and the start of her road to redemption. Only time will tell where the story will proceed, maybe the return of Lex (poor Sara needs a happy ending too). We also have several points of development: -The arrival of the Ashes and Framework to Test Site Beta, seeing that Helena, the leader of the latest, even if part of the former doesn't have the best of relations with them. -The destruction of all the mainframes of the high level sirens, and their "alliance" with HeleMETA (she maintains their egos and bodies with the Tower's power, but Observer lost her ability to use the Natural Calculation System). -And the looming threat of BHR which is trapped in an illusion, most probably caused by The Magician (for the theme played when she was shown is that Arbiter's one).
Yeah, it really has been a good year for the story. It feels like it’s going somewhere now… no more of those events where they fall into a mirror sea, fight their way out, and it doesn’t feel like anything changed. Rapprochement with the Sirens is what I find the most interesting right now.
While the Italian faction getting a UR event is possible, it is more likely that the final Ultra Rare of 2024 will go to the British faction as they have the whole Camelot Gate storyline to wrap up with the fall of Camelot and whatever is trying to break through, the Hood-2 plot point and there is whole matter of adding HMS Anson after the disaster that was the attempt to introduce her in March 2024
@@kyero8724 Yes, the butterflies whisked her away back to the capital so we won't be seeing her in the area we are in right now, and even if she were dead she would still be in a revival state.

Finally, when I max out Amagi no less.

This game seems like better Perimeter that Perimeter story wise.
I can't believe they killed off my wife musashi... She didnt even make a mention of Skk at all during her final moments.

i thought she was saved by the golden butterflies?
musashi and mikasa were safed by golden butterflys, presumably by yamato

So is Musahi dead or what?
She was saved by Yamato with the butterflies.
