@@wojtekreliga3881 I wished they kept the original reason why Bowser kidnapped Peach from the SNES Super Mario Bros. story; it's because Peach has magical powers to restore her people and the kingdom back to normal from Bowser's evil curse.
The whole "Bowser wants to marry Peach" plotline were only apparent in 2 games, Super Paper Mario and Super Mario Odyssey.

Crazy thing this, Paper Mario actually made the whole "Bowser in love with Peach" thing canon.
Paper Bowser is also the most likely version to break into a song as well...
It was also in the 1986 anime where Luigi trips balls on shrooms. Interestingly, in it Peach refuses to marry Mario _or_ Bowser because she's engaged to some prince, who's revealed in the last 30 seconds.
