In the ensuing centuries, the various Koopalings and Bowser Jr. mourned their father, competed for the throne, slaughtered each other, and created trillions of Koopa and Goomba refugees. All because Mario had one bad day.
All for a princess that doesn't like him
Uh doesn't Peach rule those 8 worlds? (Well 7 of them) It's part of the Mushroom kingdom, Bowser kidnapped her so he could take over, so really he's the one at fault is he not?

I hate to be that guy, but the Koopalings being Bowser’s kids was retconned at some point
When he says "I am a giant..." he lands next to Mario, showing that they are actually the same height.
He is big for a turtle
He also had the mushroom power-up which one assumes makes him bigger than he normally is.
I think it's probably meant as a meta-gag about how they're using the classic sprites rather than the typical ones they use

The most saddest thing lost here was... *Mark And Rebecca's Payment*. They're really good architects, Helped me build my home. Sure i haven't seen my dog nor my family since last january but I'm sure their enjoying their stay at the house.
Oh and my missing limbs? My fault for forgetting about the traps around the home

Do not worry. There are plenty of 1-Up Mushrooms (and even stronger items] in the Mushroom Kingdom. You can even buy some in other kingdoms!

Mario's legs and feet are canonically the most powerful part of his body. If he kicked Bowser instead he would've exploded into bits.

@@whatis4295 Nintendo has made out Mario to be noble and stuff like that many times in his games. Plus they would have no reason to make their mascot a villain

I just love how Dorkly takes all these pixelated classics and makes them even MORE classic! Whoever you are, you should make a whole series based on interactions with these characters, especially this awesome British Bowser.
Unless you've done so already and I just didn't see them. I've seen more ingenious dialogue and comedy from your videos in just a few weeks than I ever did with years on TV!

I really like the animation for this 8-Bit Mario skits Dorkly, like you could make some seriously cool stuff with this kind of talent
Finally a hero being smart for once, you'd think we'd see other examples of this like how in a some Zelda games the locks on some of the doors are so BIG that Link could simply just stick his hand in there and move the tumblers into place to open the doors or what about Sonic the Hedgehog remembering that he's *Sonic the Hedgehog* the fastest thing alive he could go from Green Hill Zone to Scrap brainrain Zone in a matter of less the 3 minutes or what can't Mega man just flip the metaur's helmets off of there heads and then blast them and then later copy there power and become indestructible.

I don't think enough people are talking about how incredibly well animated a few of these new bits are? Like, this is some top notch hand drawn pixel art animation.
Despite having deep pockets to pay for the work that Mark and Rebecca put into his castle, Bowser's lack of pockets proved to be his downfall.
