Ive been listening to these guys since the early 90s. I only saw them once in 96 at the Mercury theater in Knoxville TN. They are unique and fucking awesome.

I saw them one time at Spaceland in Silverlake, CA. The drummer had gotten into a motorcycle accident...broke his collar bone and it hadn't fully healed yet. and there he was bashing these songs out. I was like holy fuck????? That's Unsane for you. Those guys have balls between their legs. great band
I saw them open for Slayer. They eventually joined the crowd in the Slayer chant - why not, they weren't going to stop. Heavy Band

Saw them once. Was rad. This is oddly strangely relaxing to watch with what else is going on. Pure awesomeness.

@@robertjablonski9778 Unsane, Melvins, Boris, and such bands are a logical next step in rock 'n' roll. The fundamentals are more or less the same, this is just way heavier. Noise rock is rock's cool yet angry nephew who looks 47 but they're 24.
@@ThrashJazzAssassin77 Ok, but much more heavier than R'n'R and more mathematical. Cows and Killdozer are R'n'R sure but Big Black is not.

direi che all'inizio fosse un po in bomba , ma essendo un gran musicista ha rimediato , l'eccitazione ed è rientrato nei ranghi , a sensazione è come vedere dei bluesman/jazzisti che si danno alla dissonanza , nn so se hai prensente le ritmiche che vinnie ha messo in piedi ci vole molta esperienza, orecchio e impostazione .....a sti livelli si fa il panico.... committed è ottima per capire bene che ottimo musicista sia e anche le altre......un grande , tra l'altro lui all'inizio suonava in una delle mie band preferite di sempre gli swans e ho avuto la fortuna di vederlo al cpa nel 96 , mi so buttato via ( sempre col solito trio ) grandi unsane , volume da panico tra l'altro lui è il fratello de un altro grande musicista ''chris spencer'' ovvero john spencer

Lucky I got to see them sight-unseen in New Orleans in 2012. The Melvins brought them on tour, just as Tool had brought the Melvins on tour. The great magnet.
