When they screened the first footage of Joan Collins and she removed the glasses and pulled back the veil Aaron Spelling turned to Nolan Miller and said "put her in lots of hats".
Alexis was my fave, but i like the sarcastic look on Krystle's face when she turns around the first time. These days I dont see people using their face and body to act, mostly only verbal. Ah, the good ol days!
Again brillian scene, brilliant writing and acting. To me what stands out in this scene is what's not being said by Krystle. She is simply tolerating sharing the same space with Alexis in this scene and obviously doesn't want to engage with her intitially. When Alexis says "Krystle! What a nice surprise" Krystle doesn't even bother to say hello she simply mutters the word.."Alexis" (as if to say go away bitch). Then when Alexis makes a remark about the the necklace must've been expensive Krytle's retort with "it was" in a tone that screams (damn right it was but that's none of your business). Loved these two as polar opposites. I would be remiss if I didn't say that both of them were absolutely beautiful in this scene. Love this show
The writing was tremendously underrated in the early seasons. It was sharp, funny, and not afraid to take risks and deal with the characters as people, instead of icons.
I love Alexis and Alexis is the baby mama. She gave Blake kids that he adores. Alexis was always my favorite character she was strong willed, smart, great taste in clothes & beautiful.

She looked so GREAT with less makeup here and no wigs in this season! After she started wearing TONS of makeup and huge wigs she didn't look as good as here. Even today in her 80's once or twice I've seen videos with her own hair rather than a wig and she looks MUCH better.

For years Alexis swore she didn't want him. Then,after years alone, he marries Krystle...Then Alexis wanted him back...but never got him .Poor Alexis

That would leave Alexis burn for the entire season.
