So here is something I discovered. I would not normally recommend listening to Phase 4 on headphones as the "sitting in the middle of the orchestra" "super stereo" can sound a little weird. Where as I use headphones to do a lot of cleanup work because with noise cancellation on, it is easier to detect various clicks, defects, and dropouts in the sound, I don't usually ever use Apple's "Spatial" setting when listening to music. For some reason, I cycled passed the "Spacial" setting and discovered that, on at least this Phase 4, it actually sounded much more "natural" than just the pure "Off" or "Cancel" setting". I think the more recent Bose headphones have a similar sort of setting but I don't know how they would sound or whether Windows or Android have similar modes.
