Not to be that guy, but Roger was at blue devils for 10 years (marching and teaching) before he went to Crossmen and then Madison Scouts. The audio track is 2001 Blue Devils playing Contrasting when he taught there. Definitely appreciate the comment, though! He taught me in 2010 before he went to coats in 2012.
@gordon ramsey ha it’s okay. I dont expect everyone to know drum corps history like that. Bluecoats drumline blew up in the past decade so of course people will associate roger with them now but he’s really a BD LEGEND.
@@kevinb9790 yeah like Kyle said, I was at the ‘16 camps and it was in the packet so I ended up doing a bit of research. Super cool exercise, wish we would see more groups playing it in the lot these days
VERY challenging pressure changes, all the way from 3's to immediate low & high diddles. Taps being thrown around in there with crescendo rolls + great dynamics. All in all it's pretty neat stuff
One of the best parts of bloo 16 was playing this in our warm up sequence! A legendary exercise 💪
You are even using Roger Carter sticks! Attention to detail, I love it.
Something about a blue devil playin bluecoats hits different 😂
